Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) has announced a strategic price revision for the Hyundai TUCSON, making the popular SUV more accessible to Malaysian customers without changing its existing specifications or equipment. Effective immediately, the Hyundai TUCSON is now priced from RM159,800 for the 1.6T Prime, while the 1.6T Prestige AWD is available from RM179,800. The range-topping TUCSON Prestige HEV now starts at RM189,800.

The revised pricing represents reductions of between RM5,088 and RM8,088, depending on the variant.

According to HMY Managing Director Ms Jahabarnisa Haja Mohideen, the move is intended to provide greater value while retaining the quality, safety and ownership experience associated with the Hyundai brand. “The TUCSON has consistently been one of Hyundai’s best-performing models globally, earning the trust of customers through its innovative design, advanced safety technologies and everyday versatility,” she said. She added that the revised pricing is aimed at making the SUV more accessible to Malaysian customers while maintaining Hyundai’s global standards and its ‘Sentiasa di sisi anda’ promise.

Despite the lower prices, there are no changes to the TUCSON’s specifications, equipment or safety technologies. All three variants continue to feature Hyundai SmartSense, alongside a range of comfort and convenience features. The TUCSON has also established itself as Hyundai’s global best-selling SUV, with more than 10 million units sold worldwide since its introduction in 2004. Its combination of distinctive styling, safety technology and everyday practicality has helped it maintain a strong presence in markets around the world.

With the latest price adjustment, Malaysian buyers can now access the TUCSON range at a lower entry point while choosing between the Prime, all-wheel-drive Prestige and hybrid-powered Prestige HEV variants.
