Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia has announced a major expansion of its authorised dealer network, underscoring the brand’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the Malaysian premium electric vehicle (EV) market.
The latest expansion was formalised through dealership agreements with Quantum Motors Sdn. Bhd., which will oversee outlets at IOI City Mall, Seremban and Kuala Lumpur North, alongside Wheelcorp Premium Sdn. Bhd. in Setia Alam and Ghee Hua Co. Sdn. Bhd. in Kuching. The move broadens Zeekr’s reach across both Peninsular and East Malaysia while enhancing accessibility to sales and aftersales services for customers.
The expanded network forms part of Zeekr Malaysia’s strategy to build a stronger retail and ownership ecosystem as interest in premium electric mobility continues to grow. By increasing its physical presence nationwide, the company aims to provide greater convenience for customers and support a more comprehensive ownership experience.
The announcement comes amid a period of steady growth for the brand. Zeekr has maintained its position in Malaysia’s premium EV segment throughout 2026, supported by the introduction of the 2026 Zeekr X and continued demand for models such as the Zeekr 7X and Zeekr 009. These vehicles have contributed to the brand’s growing recognition among Malaysian consumers seeking premium electric transportation options.
At the recent Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS 2026), Zeekr further highlighted its ambitions in the luxury EV space by showcasing the Zeekr 9X and Zeekr 009 Grand, both of which are now open for bookings. The models signal the brand’s intention to broaden its portfolio and cater to customers looking for more exclusive and high-end electric vehicles.
The newly appointed dealer partners will manage a combination of sales outlets and integrated 3S facilities, offering sales, service and spare parts support. They join Zeekr’s existing network of authorised partners, which includes locations in Ipoh, Melaka, Ampang, Petaling Jaya, KLCC, Puchong, Skudai, Federal Highway, Sunway City, Bangsar, Mutiara Damansara and Juru Autocity.
With the latest additions, Zeekr’s retail network is set to reach 11 outlets nationwide. The company has outlined plans to expand further to 18 outlets by the end of 2026, providing broader coverage and improved access to its products and services.
According to Eddy Lu, General Manager of Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia, authorised dealer partners play a crucial role in delivering the brand’s ownership experience to customers throughout the country. He noted that the company is working closely with its partners to ensure a seamless journey that extends beyond vehicle purchases to include comprehensive aftersales support.
As Zeekr continues to introduce new products and grow its customer base, the expanded dealer and service network is expected to play an important role in supporting customer confidence and reinforcing the brand’s long-term growth strategy in Malaysia’s evolving EV landscape.
