Ride-hailing platform inDrive Malaysia is once again recognising the dedication of its driver-partners with the return of the Platinum Driver League 2026, following an encouraging response during its inaugural edition last year.

The campaign, which runs from 27 April to 31 May 2026, is open to driver-partners operating in the Klang Valley, Johor Bahru, and Penang. Designed to reward active participation and driver commitment, the initiative offers prizes worth more than RM100,000, ranging from weekly rewards to major grand prizes.

Among the attractive rewards up for grabs are smartphones, tablets, dashcams, and fuel vouchers, while top-performing participants stand a chance to win a brand-new Perodua Bezza 1.3 Advance 2026 and a Yamaha NVX motorcycle.

The initiative arrives at a crucial time as many ride-hailing drivers continue to manage increasing operational costs and broader economic challenges. Rising fuel prices, vehicle maintenance expenses, and daily living costs have placed added pressure on gig economy workers, making additional earning incentives increasingly valuable.

According to Azlan Anwar, Driver Operations Manager at inDrive Malaysia, the campaign is intended to acknowledge the vital role drivers play in supporting daily mobility needs while helping to ease some of their financial pressures.

He explained that driver-partners are essential to the platform’s success, ensuring millions of passengers can travel conveniently and safely each day. The Platinum Driver League 2026, he added, is part of the company’s effort to give back to drivers through meaningful rewards and stronger earning opportunities.

Beyond rewarding drivers, the campaign also reflects inDrive’s broader strategy of strengthening Malaysia’s growing gig economy ecosystem. The company continues to focus on initiatives that encourage driver engagement, long-term sustainability, and professional growth within the ride-hailing community.

Adding to its driver-focused approach, inDrive recently introduced a 1% commission model for drivers in Kuala Lumpur, available until 31 May 2026. The initiative is aimed at helping drivers retain a larger portion of their earnings, especially during periods of economic uncertainty.

With the return of the Platinum Driver League, inDrive hopes to further motivate driver-partners while expanding its driver network across key Malaysian cities, reinforcing its commitment to fairness, transparency, and inclusive mobility solutions.
