BMW Group Malaysia recently celebrated the achievements of its nationwide dealer network at its annual Dealer Awards Night, held at the prestigious Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur. The event gathered more than 200 guests, including representatives and leaders from BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad dealerships across Malaysia, in recognition of their outstanding contributions throughout the year.
The evening highlighted the crucial role dealership partners continue to play in delivering the brand’s hallmark Sheer Driving Pleasure and Premium Ownership Experience to customers nationwide. Awards spanning sales, aftersales and financial services excellence were presented to individuals and dealerships that demonstrated exceptional commitment and performance in 2025.
Speaking during the ceremony, Benjamin Nagel reflected on the importance of the dealer network in shaping the company’s success and future direction.
He noted that the event was not only about recognising achievements, but also celebrating the partnerships and people behind them. Nagel also expressed confidence in the readiness of BMW Group Malaysia’s dealer network for the upcoming launch of the Neue Klasse, which marks a new chapter in the company’s electric mobility journey. He added that the dealer network’s dedication has helped BMW Group Malaysia maintain its position as Malaysia’s leading premium automaker since 2020, while also remaining the country’s top premium electric vehicle provider for six consecutive years.
A major focus of the night was the BMW Aftersales Vision Club 2025, which honoured dealership associates who excelled in customer care, technical expertise and aftersales leadership. Winners were recognised across categories such as Quality Customer Care Manager, Technician, Parts Manager, Service Advisor and Head of Aftersales.
Among the top recipients were Yee Siew Min of Millennium Welt Kuantan, who claimed first place in the Quality Customer Care Manager category, and Kenny Chang Duen Khang of Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara, who emerged as the top Technician. Fok Jun Ming of Millennium Welt KL North was recognised as the leading Service Advisor, while Tan Thiam Peng of Lee Motors Auto Care took top honours in the Head of Aftersales category.
BMW Motorrad also celebrated its dealer network through the BMW Motorrad Dealer Award 2025, recognising associates who contributed significantly to the brand’s “Make Life a Ride” philosophy. Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara dominated several categories, with Ng Khe Yen winning the Technician award, Mohd Hilmi b Jaludin taking the Service Advisor title, and Ahmad Faisal Mustafa securing recognition as BMW Motorrad Sales Manager. Wong Kim Kooi of Auto Bavaria Penang received the prestigious Dealer Principal award.
Sales excellence was another highlight of the evening, with the Top Sales Advisor for Highest Funded Contracts awards recognising standout performers across BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad. Lucas Liang Jit Lim of Millennium Welt Seremban 2 secured the highest BMW funded contracts award, while Patrick Lim from the same dealership earned the top MINI funded contracts recognition. Saw Kooi Hong of Auto Bavaria Penang claimed the BMW Motorrad category.
BMW Group Financial Services achievements were also celebrated through the Easy Drive awards and Highest Penetration for Financial Services categories. Multiple dealership representatives from Millennium Welt, Auto Bavaria and Tian Siang Premium Auto were honoured for their success in promoting financing solutions across the BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad brands.
The MINI Issigonis Club Award 2025 recognised top performers within the MINI dealership network, including sales advisors, sales managers and dealer principals. Recipients included representatives from Seong Hoe Premium Motors, Millennium Welt Seremban 2, Auto Bavaria Penang, Auto Bavaria Kuala Lumpur and Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara.
Meanwhile, the BMW Vision Club Award 2025 celebrated strong sales performance throughout the BMW dealer network. Awards were presented across BMW Premium Selection, Sales Advisor and Head of Sales categories, with standout performances from Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara, Millennium Welt KL North, Tian Siang Premium Auto Ipoh and Regas Premium Sabah.
The evening also saw Jolene Tay of Regas Premium Auto receive the BMW Dealer Marketeer of the Year award for exceptional dealership marketing contributions.
Closing out the night was the BMW Excellence Club Award 2025, which honours Dealer Principals who consistently deliver strong operational performance and customer satisfaction. Platinum category recipients included Bryan Wong of Millennium Welt KL North, Lim Sern Paul of Auto Bavaria Balakong and Joe Lee See Juan of Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara, reflecting the high standards maintained across BMW Group Malaysia’s dealer network.
With the automotive industry moving rapidly toward electrification and digitalisation, BMW Group Malaysia’s annual awards ceremony served as both a celebration of past achievements and a strong statement of confidence for the future.
