DJI Malaysia is bringing its camera technology closer to the heart of Malaysian motorsport through a new partnership with Sepang International Circuit (SIC), becoming the circuit’s Official Action Camera Partner. The collaboration combines DJI’s imaging technology with the excitement of motorsport, giving fans and content creators more opportunities to capture the action both on and off the track.

At the centre of the partnership is the newly launched DJI Osmo 360 II, a 360-degree camera designed to let users record an entire scene in a single take before deciding which angles and perspectives to use later. This means creators can capture themselves, the cars on track and the atmosphere around the circuit simultaneously, rather than having to commit to a single viewpoint while recording.

Built for fast-moving environments and changing lighting conditions, the Osmo 360 II features native 8K/60fps 360-degree video, a 1-inch square HDR imaging sensor and up to 14.5 stops of dynamic range. These features are designed to help preserve detail as the action unfolds, whether it is a race car attacking a corner or the crowd reacting from the grandstands.

For events that continue after sunset, AI SuperNight 2.0 is designed to improve low-light footage. The camera also comes with ultra-hard replaceable lenses and 105 GB of built-in storage, giving users additional peace of mind when recording throughout an entire race day. The Osmo 360 II also offers several features aimed at making post-production and content creation easier. Spotlight Follow can keep a selected subject centred in the final footage, while Dual Recording allows creators to capture themselves and the surrounding environment in the same take.

There are also several creative shooting modes for those looking to add more variety to their motorsport content. These include 4K/240fps 360-degree slow motion, 16K 360-degree Timelapse and 8K/120fps Vortex, providing different ways to showcase speed, movement and the atmosphere of a race weekend. To celebrate the new partnership, DJI Malaysia is also running a limited-time giveaway for customers who purchase a DJI Osmo series product between 18 and 27 September 2026.

Eligible customers will stand a chance to win tickets to the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, which will take place from 2 to 4 October 2026 at PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit. The winners are scheduled to be announced on 29 September 2026.
