Malaysia Autoshow 2027 is officially scheduled to take place from 4 to 8 June 2027 at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS), bringing the country’s automotive and mobility community together once again. The announcement comes as organisers continue to position Malaysia Autoshow as a platform connecting vehicle manufacturers, technology companies, industry players and consumers. The 2027 edition is expected to showcase the latest vehicles, technologies and developments shaping the future of automotive and mobility in Malaysia.

Members of the public can register their interest through the official Malaysia Autoshow website to receive updates on ticket sales, participating brands, programmes and activities as more information is released. The date announcement was made during the Jalur Gemilang Gathering at MAEPS Serdang, where more than 230 vehicles came together to celebrate Malaysia Day. Representing the four colours of the Malaysian flag — red, white, blue and yellow — the vehicles were arranged to create a large-scale automotive interpretation of the Jalur Gemilang.
More importantly, the gathering brought together owners from different backgrounds and motoring communities. Rather than being centred around a particular brand, vehicle segment or type, the event highlighted the shared passion for cars that connects Malaysia’s diverse automotive community. According to Boo Dickson, CEO of Moonman Events, which co-organises Malaysia Autoshow with the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii), grassroots activities remain an important part of the event’s role in developing the local automotive community.

“Malaysia Autoshow is ultimately about people. Events like the Jalur Gemilang Gathering show how our shared passion for mobility can bring together Malaysians from different backgrounds, different communities and with different interests. On Malaysia Day, it is especially meaningful to see that community come together under one flag,” he said.
Dickson also highlighted Malaysia’s vibrant grassroots automotive culture, which extends beyond new car launches and the wider automotive industry. Owners, clubs, enthusiasts and motoring communities across the country form an important part of Malaysia’s car culture, which has also attracted international attention. The country’s automotive scene most recently received global exposure through its appearance in the new season of The Grand Tour, further highlighting the diversity of Malaysia’s motoring community.

With this in mind, grassroots engagement will continue to form an important component of Malaysia Autoshow, complementing its broader role as a platform for vehicle manufacturers, technology companies and other industry stakeholders. To coincide with the 2027 announcement, Malaysia Autoshow has also released a special highlight video featuring participants from the Jalur Gemilang Gathering. Available through its official Facebook and YouTube channels, the video captures community members discussing what unity means to them, while also sharing their wishlist of brands, vehicles and features they would like to see at Malaysia Autoshow 2027.
The video also features the official date reveal by Boo Dickson, giving automotive enthusiasts their first confirmed date for next year’s show.
