MINI Malaysia has introduced the New MINI Countryman S ALL4 Desert Night Edition, a limited-run special edition that brings the drama and spirit of the desert night to Malaysian roads.
Inspired by the contrasting landscapes and adventurous atmosphere of the desert after sunset, the special edition combines exclusive styling details with enhanced driver assistance technology and MINI’s ALL4 intelligent all-wheel-drive system. Production for Malaysia is limited to just 48 units, making it one of the more exclusive variants in the Countryman line-up.
The launch comes as attention turns towards a desert-inspired race arriving at Sepang, providing an appropriate backdrop for a MINI designed around the themes of exploration, individuality and adventure.

He added that the Desert Night Edition combines exclusive design elements, enhanced technology and the confidence of ALL4 all-wheel drive to encourage customers to approach every journey with curiosity and a sense of discovery.
Based on the MINI Countryman S ALL4, the Desert Night Edition receives a collection of styling elements developed specifically for the special edition.
The exterior features distinctive Desert Night accents on the C-pillars and D-pillars, complemented by matching details on the front bumper. The hub caps and valve caps also carry the Desert Night treatment, giving the Countryman a more distinctive appearance from virtually every angle.
The theme continues inside the cabin, where bespoke touches include a Desert Night steering wheel badge, Desert Night floor mat piercing and a matching motif on the key cap.
Together, these details give the Countryman S ALL4 a more individual character while retaining the model’s practical, adventurous positioning.
For Malaysia, the 48-unit allocation is split between two exterior colours. Smokey Green will be limited to 30 units, while the remaining 18 units will be finished in Slate Blue.
While its styling takes inspiration from rugged desert environments, the Desert Night Edition is equally suited to everyday Malaysian driving.
MINI’s ALL4 intelligent all-wheel-drive system provides additional traction and confidence across changing road conditions, whether tackling wet highways during Malaysia’s frequent tropical downpours or heading out on longer road trips.
The Countryman S also retains the characteristic MINI driving experience, combining everyday versatility with the brand’s trademark go-kart-inspired handling.
Adding to its long-distance credentials, Active Cruise Control is offered as standard for the first time on the MINI Countryman. The system automatically adjusts the vehicle’s speed according to surrounding traffic while maintaining a safe following distance.
The technology is intended to reduce the workload during longer journeys, allowing drivers to concentrate more on the road while maintaining a smoother pace in changing traffic conditions.
MINI Malaysia is also offering an attractive package for customers who move quickly.
Customers who place their booking by 4 October 2026 will qualify for an RM12,000 Early Bird Cash Rebate. Those who finance their Desert Night Edition through the MINI Easy Drive Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia will receive a further RM10,000 in financing support.
Combined, the incentives provide total customer benefits of up to RM22,000.
The Easy Drive Financing Plan is available with estimated monthly instalments starting from RM2,271, based on a 75% loan over five years.
Alternatively, the Straight-Line Financing Plan starts from an estimated RM2,185 per month, based on a 75% loan over nine years.
The recommended retail price for the New MINI Countryman S ALL4 Desert Night Edition, on the road and excluding insurance, is RM267,333 with the Extended Warranty and Service Package, while the listed price without the package is RM277,733.
Beyond the vehicle itself, MINI Malaysia is backing the Desert Night Edition with a broad range of ownership and aftersales services.
The model is covered by MINI Malaysia’s five-year Roadside Assistance programme, providing 24-hour, 365-day support. Services include accident and emergency assistance, towing, replacement vehicle arrangements, mobility solutions, accommodation and repatriation services where applicable.

Customers can also make service appointments online through MINI Service Online, allowing them to schedule visits directly with their preferred MINI Authorised Dealership.
MINI’s Extended Warranty and Service Package further provides additional flexibility beyond the standard two-year warranty.
The broader “Relax. We Care.” ownership programme brings together MINI’s customer care, service and connected-car technologies. This includes MINI Proactive Care, which uses real-time vehicle sensor data to identify potential functional issues and alert customers through the My MINI App or iDrive.
