Proton is stepping up its aftersales offering with two initiatives aimed at giving customers greater value, improved safety assurance and a more rewarding experience at its authorised service centres nationwide. The national carmaker has introduced the Stay Safe & Save Campaign, alongside the latest phase of its collaboration with lifestyle fragrance brand Little Joe. Both programmes are designed to add value to routine service visits while encouraging owners to pay closer attention to vehicle maintenance.
Running from 1 September 2026 while stocks last, the Stay Safe & Save Campaign is available to Proton customers at participating authorised service outlets nationwide, including 2S centres. Under the campaign, customers can enjoy a 10% discount on selected Proton Genuine batteries, brake pads and wipers when the parts are purchased and installed at participating outlets. Promotional prices vary depending on the Proton model.
The campaign also comes with a complimentary 40-point vehicle safety inspection for participating customers. This doubles the coverage of Proton’s standard 20-point inspection, allowing technicians to conduct a more comprehensive assessment of important vehicle systems. By combining discounts on commonly replaced wear-and-tear components with a more extensive inspection, Proton aims to make essential maintenance more affordable while helping owners identify potential issues before they develop into more serious problems.
The company’s latest aftersales initiative follows the launch of the third phase of its PROTON x Little Joe collaboration, which began on 25 August 2026 and will continue while stocks last. Customers can purchase a PROTON x Little Joe 3D air freshener for RM17, with no minimum spending requirement. Available for all Proton models, the exclusive product can be purchased at authorised 4S, 3S and 2S service centres.
Two scents are offered as part of the collaboration: Amber, presented in red, and Ginger Lemon, presented in blue. Manufactured by Swiss brand Little Joe, the air fresheners use a non-toxic polymer and fragrance oils sourced from Italy and France, with each unit designed to retain its fragrance for up to 45 days. The latest Little Joe offering builds on previous collaborations between the two brands, giving Proton customers an affordable lifestyle accessory while adding a more enjoyable element to the service-centre experience.
According to Dato’ Ir. Abdul Rashid Musa, Chief Executive Officer of PROTON Edar, the initiatives underline the company’s efforts to maintain customer support beyond the point of vehicle delivery. “At PROTON, customer care does not end when a vehicle is delivered. It continues at every service appointment and throughout the ownership journey,” he said. He added that the Stay Safe & Save campaign is intended to reduce the cost of essential Proton Genuine Parts while providing customers with a more comprehensive safety inspection, while the Little Joe collaboration brings an additional lifestyle element to the customer experience.
The latest initiatives form part of Proton’s broader effort to strengthen its nationwide aftersales network, which currently comprises 196 authorised service outlets. The company also continues to focus on trained personnel, Proton Genuine Parts and easier appointment booking through the PROTON Link 2.0 application.
