Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia has introduced the Zeekr 7X Black Nova, a limited-edition styling variant based on the high-performance Zeekr 7X AWD Performance. Limited to just 200 units nationwide, the special edition is aimed at buyers seeking a more distinctive and exclusive interpretation of Zeekr’s best-selling electric SUV.
Carrying the campaign theme “Singular Shade, Rarely Yours”, the Zeekr 7X Black Nova adopts a monochromatic design that combines an all-black exterior with new black alloy wheels and, for the first time in Malaysia, a dedicated Black & Grey two-tone interior.
The visual treatment gives the premium electric SUV a darker and more understated character while retaining the performance, technology and comfort features of the AWD Performance variant.
The launch of the Black Nova comes as Zeekr celebrates the strong performance of the 7X in Malaysia.
Since its local introduction, the Zeekr 7X has become the brand’s best-selling model, recording 3,235 cumulative deliveries within its first year. According to Zeekr Malaysia, this makes it the best-selling premium electric SUV in the local market.
The model has also played a significant role in Zeekr’s wider growth in Malaysia, contributing to the brand recently surpassing 5,000 cumulative vehicle deliveries and strengthening its position in the premium EV segment.
Eddy Lu, General Manager of Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia, said the Black Nova gives customers an opportunity to experience the popular 7X in a more exclusive form, while retaining the attributes that have made the model successful.
The limited edition is therefore positioned not as a mechanical upgrade, but as a more individualistic design expression of the existing AWD Performance.
Exclusive to the Zeekr 7X AWD Performance, the Black Nova features an all-black exterior finish complemented by newly designed 20-inch black alloy wheels.
Inside, the SUV receives a Black & Grey two-tone cabin, providing a visual contrast to the dark exterior while maintaining the premium character expected of the 7X.
Together, these changes create a cohesive monochromatic appearance intended to appeal to buyers who prefer a more restrained yet distinctive approach to luxury.
Beyond its appearance, the 7X continues to offer a combination of performance and everyday usability. The AWD Performance can produce up to 475 kW (646 PS) and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
Its 800V high-voltage architecture also allows rapid charging, with a 10% to 80% charging session taking as little as 16 minutes under suitable charging conditions.
Across the wider Zeekr 7X range, the SUV offers up to 615 km of WLTP-rated driving range, further reinforcing its suitability for both daily commuting and longer journeys.
The Black Nova retains the extensive technology and comfort equipment associated with the Zeekr 7X.
Key features include the Zeekr Stargate Integrated Smart Light Curtain, Advanced Intelligent Driving Assistance Systems and 720° Safety Protection, alongside the Magic Carpet Suspension system.
The cabin also comes equipped with a Zeekr Sound Pro audio system, frameless automatic doors and Nappa full-grain top-layer leather seats.
Front occupants benefit from both ventilation and massage functions, adding another layer of comfort to the SUV’s premium interior.
The Zeekr 7X Black Nova is priced at RM235,000 in Malaysia and is available exclusively as the AWD Performance variant.

- 1 year of complimentary connected services, including 6GB of internet data per month
