SAIC Motor Malaysia has strengthened its growing retail and aftersales footprint with the opening of its first MG 3S Centre in Rawang, operated by SNS Kembara Utama Sdn Bhd. Officially commencing operations on 17 August 2026, the new facility is located within the Rawang Hi-Tech Industrial Area and provides customers in the surrounding community with a dedicated location to discover MG’s latest models. Aftersales services will be introduced once the service centre is fully completed and operational.

The new outlet occupies a one-and-a-half-storey semi-attached factory covering approximately 1,200 square metres. Designed to provide a more comfortable customer experience, the facility also includes a dedicated lounge equipped with Wi-Fi, coffee and snacks. Customers visiting the centre can explore MG’s current model line-up and experience the MGS5 EV firsthand, with test drives also available. Syed Nasrul Azmi bin Syed Mahmud, Chief Executive Officer of SNS Kembara Utama Sdn Bhd, said the new facility represents an important milestone for the dealership while bringing the MG experience closer to customers in Rawang.

“We are pleased to open the first MG 3S Centre in Rawang and bring the MG experience closer to customers within the community,” said Syed Nasrul Azmi. He added that the centre would provide a more convenient touchpoint for customers, allowing them to explore MG vehicles while preparing to offer aftersales support from the same location once the service facility becomes fully operational.

The expansion also forms part of SAIC Motor Malaysia’s wider efforts to strengthen MG’s presence across the country. According to Emory Qi, Managing Director of SAIC Motor Malaysia Sdn Bhd, expanding the dealer network is an important component of the brand’s growth strategy in Malaysia.

The new Rawang facility brings MG’s nationwide sales and service network to 26 outlets, strengthening accessibility for customers while supporting the brand’s continued expansion in the local market. Strategically positioned within the Rawang Hi-Tech Industrial Area, the centre is intended to serve customers in Rawang and nearby areas, giving them easier access to MG’s products and, in the near future, its aftersales support.

SNS Kembara Utama MG Rawang is open from 9.00am to 5.30pm from Monday to Saturday, while operating hours on Sundays and Public Holidays are from 11.00am to 4.00pm.
