Lamborghini has taken its flagship V12 hybrid supercar to an even more extreme level with the introduction of the new Revuelto SV, the latest evolution of the brand’s legendary Super Veloce lineage. Unveiled in Monterey, California, the limited-production model combines Lamborghini’s naturally aspirated V12 character with hybrid technology, extensive weight-saving measures and motorsport-inspired chassis development.

Limited to just 1,963 units as a tribute to the year Automobili Lamborghini was founded, the Revuelto SV is positioned as an exclusive model for the marque’s most loyal customers and collectors. It also becomes the most powerful and fastest production Lamborghini ever built at Sant’Agata Bolognese.

At the heart of the Revuelto SV is a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 producing 825 CV at 9,250 rpm, supported by three electric motors and a 7.3 kWh lithium-ion battery. Combined output rises to 1,065 CV, an increase of 50 CV over the standard Revuelto, while system torque reaches a remarkable 1,425 Nm.

The performance figures are equally dramatic. The Revuelto SV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds and reaches 200 km/h in just 6.7 seconds, while its top speed exceeds 345 km/h. With a dry weight of 1,772 kg, its power-to-weight ratio stands at 1.66 kg/CV. Lamborghini has not treated the SV badge as simply an increase in horsepower. The Revuelto SV has been extensively reworked to improve the way that performance reaches the road.

Its aerodynamics have been redesigned around a new front splitter, revised underbody, fixed rear wing and Gurney flap. The changes deliver 80% more total downforce than the standard Revuelto, while also improving downforce-to-drag efficiency by 60%. The front aerodynamic balance has also been shifted to enhance high-speed handling, while brake cooling has been improved by 12%. The result is a car designed to remain stable and planted when its performance is being pushed to the limit, while retaining the sharp and unmistakable proportions of the Revuelto.

Visually, the SV adopts a more aggressive interpretation of the original car. A wider-looking front end, prominent aerodynamic elements, visible carbon-fibre components, a fixed rear wing and race-inspired single-nut wheels give the car a more focused appearance. Lamborghini also offers dedicated SV liveries and extensive exterior carbon-fibre options, with up to 25 exterior components available in visible carbon.

Inside, Lamborghini has pushed its “Feel Like a Pilot” philosophy further, creating a cabin that places greater emphasis on the driver and the demands of high-performance driving. The Revuelto SV features a lightweight interior, carbon-fibre door panels and specially developed Sport Seats with carbon-shell structures as standard. Customers seeking a more focused setup can specify optional monocoque carbon-fibre Race Seats, which provide additional lateral support while reducing weight.

The steering wheel also receives a motorsport-inspired control layout, while a dedicated red Pilota Mode selector joins the existing ANIMA driving-mode controls. Lamborghini has also expanded the model’s personalization possibilities, including multiple SV logo configurations, dedicated liveries, different carbon-fibre finishes, wheel and centre-lock colours, and a choice of interior materials and contrasting leather colours.

Underneath, the Revuelto SV receives a newly developed suspension system featuring four-way manually adjustable passive dampers derived from GT3 racing technology. The setup allows the driver to adapt the car to different conditions and driving styles, with Lamborghini offering recommended configurations for flat, bumpy and wet track surfaces. Compared with the standard Revuelto, the SV delivers 17% greater agility and 10% more lateral grip.

Braking performance has also received a major upgrade. The new CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic brake system uses technology inspired by endurance racing and Formula 1, with 420 x 40 mm discs at the front and 410 x 32 mm units at the rear. The system allows the Revuelto SV to brake from 200 to 0 km/h in just 110 metres. Lamborghini says the new brakes provide 11% greater peak deceleration, 23% better heat dissipation and a 12% reduction in brake-disc temperature compared with the Revuelto.

A new 6D inertial sensor and Integrated Vehicle Estimator further enhance the braking and vehicle-dynamics systems by continuously monitoring acceleration and rotational movement across all three axes. This allows the car to estimate factors such as speed, side-slip angle and available grip more accurately, helping the braking system react more precisely.

One of the most significant additions is Pilota, a new dedicated driving mode developed specifically for the Revuelto SV. Activated through a rotary control on the steering wheel, Pilota provides a bespoke five-stage traction-control system derived from Lamborghini’s GT3 racing experience. The system is designed to adapt to changing track conditions and tyre wear while maintaining stability and precision during aggressive driving.

The Revuelto SV retains the familiar Strada, Sport and Corsa modes, allowing the car to transition from a more comfortable road-going character to a sharper and more aggressive track setup. The hybrid powertrain remains central to the Revuelto SV’s character. Its naturally aspirated V12 is paired with two front axial-flux electric motors and a radial-flux electric motor positioned above the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

This configuration allows electric torque vectoring across the front wheels, helping improve traction, turn-in response and corner-exit grip. Lamborghini says the system contributes to making the car feel lighter and more precise than its numbers might suggest. The upgraded battery system also delivers up to four times greater performance consistency than the standard Revuelto, allowing the SV to sustain its output more effectively during demanding track sessions.

To ensure the chassis can make full use of its performance, Lamborghini has worked with Bridgestone on a dedicated range of tyres. The headline option is the new Potenza Race R semi-slick, developed specifically for the Revuelto SV. It combines a motorsport-inspired compound with an aggressive tread pattern, while remaining road legal. Lamborghini says it has been engineered to deliver rapid warm-up and consistent performance throughout a track session.

Drivers can alternatively choose the high-performance Potenza Sport for road use, while a bespoke Blizzak LM005 winter tyre is also available for markets requiring cold-weather capability. The Revuelto SV has already demonstrated its capabilities on the racetrack, recording a 1:41.6 lap at Germany’s Hockenheimring with Lamborghini factory driver Marco Mapelli behind the wheel.

That time makes the Revuelto SV the fastest production car ever recorded at the circuit, adding a significant performance benchmark to Lamborghini’s claims for its latest Super Veloce model. The achievement also reinforces the purpose behind the SV name, which Lamborghini has used for more than five decades to identify its most extreme versions. The lineage stretches from the 1971 Miura SV through the Diablo SV, Murciélago LP 670-4 SV and Aventador SV.

With the Revuelto SV, Lamborghini has therefore taken a very different approach to the evolution of its V12 flagship. Rather than simply adding more power, the company has reworked the car’s aerodynamics, suspension, brakes, tyres, electronics and weight distribution to create a more focused driving machine.

The result is a 1,065 CV V12 hybrid supercar that combines the drama of Lamborghini’s naturally aspirated V12 with increasingly sophisticated electrification and genuine motorsport-derived technology — pushing the Super Veloce formula into a new era.
