BMW Malaysia will return as the Official E-Mobility Partner for the Maybank Championship 2026, providing a fleet of 40 vehicles to support the international golf tournament as it takes place at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) from 29 October to 1 November 2026. The partnership marks BMW Malaysia’s fourth consecutive year supporting the championship, reflecting its focus on premium mobility, innovation and sustainability while contributing to the continued development of women’s golf in the ASEAN region.

Working alongside authorised BMW dealers Auto Bavaria and Performance Motors Malaysia, BMW Malaysia will supply an exclusive fleet comprising the BMW i7 xDrive60 M Sport, BMW iX xDrive50 Sport, BMW 530i M Sport, as well as selected BMW and MINI models. The vehicles will be used to transport players, tournament officials and distinguished guests throughout the four-day event. The inclusion of the all-electric BMW i7 and BMW iX highlights the brand’s electric mobility offerings, while the broader fleet provides a mix of vehicles to meet the tournament’s transportation requirements.

Sanctioned by the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), the Maybank Championship has established itself as one of the tour’s key events in Asia. The tournament provides an opportunity for leading international golfers to compete in Malaysia while offering regional talent greater exposure on the global stage. Beyond the competition itself, the event also aims to raise the profile of women’s golf across ASEAN and encourage greater interest in the sport among younger generations.

The 2026 edition will feature a field of 78 players competing over four rounds for a total prize purse of US$3 million. Among the golfers expected to feature are Charley Hull, Miyu Yamashita and Ruoning Yin. The tournament also adds to Malaysia’s calendar of international sporting events, attracting overseas competitors and bringing global attention to the local golf scene.

Members of the public can attend the championship in person, with tickets available for purchase. For those unable to make it to KLGCC, the tournament will be broadcast internationally through Golf Channel and Astro. Further information about the Maybank Championship 2026, including ticketing details, is available on the official tournament website.
