JETOUR has showcased its latest developments in intelligent mobility, electrification and all-terrain technology during the 2026 JETOUR Global Technology Experience Day, held from 20 to 23 October across Wuhu, Moganshan and Xiazhu Lake in China. The four-day event brought together technology demonstrations, off-road driving experiences and ecological conservation activities, illustrating how the brand intends to develop its “Travel+” philosophy beyond conventional vehicle ownership.

According to Ke Chuandeng, President of JETOUR International, the future of automotive development will depend on more than improvements in power and performance. He said the integration of intelligent interaction, energy applications and mobility services would be key to turning vehicles into intelligent travel companions. The event provided a platform for JETOUR to demonstrate how these technologies could be applied in real-world situations, particularly in outdoor exploration and long-distance travel.

Founded in 2018, JETOUR has developed its vehicle range around different travel requirements, from everyday urban commuting to long-distance journeys and outdoor adventures. Its “Travel+” strategy extends beyond vehicle development to include supporting services and owner communities. These initiatives include vehicle customisation, travel stations and owners’ clubs, which aim to connect vehicle capabilities with travel experiences and customer engagement.

JETOUR’s international expansion has also broadened the scope of this approach. As of September 2026, the company reported cumulative global sales of more than 2.56 million vehicles, with its presence spanning over 100 countries and regions. The brand also reported a global following of more than 50 million fans and over 300 owners’ clubs. As it enters different markets, JETOUR says it adapts its products and services to local road conditions, driving habits and travel cultures.

During the technology showcase in Wuhu, JETOUR presented several developments related to future mobility, including an automotive-domain large model, its chip strategy, AiMOGA robotics, Robotaxi technology and an integrated solar power, energy storage and charging system. These demonstrations reflected the company’s exploration of artificial intelligence, autonomous mobility and alternative energy applications. However, the practical value of such technologies will ultimately depend on their performance, reliability and suitability for everyday use.

One of the more distinctive demonstrations involved the JETOUR G700 equipped with the company’s “SOLAIR” technology, which combines solar energy generation with an atmospheric water collection system. The solar component uses a flexible photovoltaic cover capable of generating up to 6 kWh of electricity per day, with a peak output of 640 watts. The generated electricity can be stored in the vehicle’s traction battery and used to supply power to the vehicle and compatible electronic devices.

Meanwhile, the air-to-water system collects moisture from the surrounding atmosphere and processes it through heating, condensation, filtration and disinfection. JETOUR states that the system can produce up to five litres of water per day. The combination is intended to provide supplementary electricity and water during remote outdoor activities, potentially reducing reliance on external supplies. Actual output, however, would depend on environmental conditions and system operating requirements.

The Moganshan programme shifted the focus towards vehicle performance, with international media representatives experiencing JETOUR’s C-DM Super Hybrid system, XWD intelligent four-wheel drive and GAIA architecture in off-road settings. The demonstrations also highlighted features such as visual AI working alongside chassis sensors and vehicle-to-load (V2L) external power supply. These technologies are intended to support vehicle control across challenging terrain while providing electricity for equipment used during outdoor trips.

The G700 Ark Edition was another key part of the programme. The model completed an emergency navigation drill at a specialised validation facility before undergoing driving evaluations by international media representatives. The exercise showcased its water-navigation capabilities and the underlying GAIA Ark technology, extending the event’s focus beyond conventional road and off-road driving. While these demonstrations offered an opportunity to observe the systems in controlled conditions, further independent testing would help establish how they perform across a wider range of environments and operating scenarios.

JETOUR’s “Travel+” approach also incorporates partnerships and community initiatives beyond automotive technology. The company works with sporting organisations and events, including FIBA, football clubs and international marathons, as part of its efforts to connect with audiences across different markets. These partnerships provide opportunities to associate the brand with sporting activities, local cultures and community engagement.

Ecological conservation is another component of the strategy. JETOUR highlighted initiatives involving crested ibis and Tibetan antelope conservation in China, alongside international projects associated with protecting species such as cheetahs, sea turtles, markhor and harpy eagles. These activities position environmental awareness as part of the brand’s broader travel concept, although the long-term impact of individual conservation programmes depends on their implementation, funding and measurable outcomes.

The 2026 JETOUR Global Technology Experience Day brought together several areas of development, from artificial intelligence and hybrid powertrains to off-road engineering, alternative energy systems and conservation initiatives. Rather than focusing solely on vehicle specifications, the programme illustrated the company’s intention to connect its products with a wider range of travel-related services and experiences.

For JETOUR, the next stage of its “Travel+” strategy will involve adapting these technologies and initiatives to users’ needs across different markets. The extent to which they influence the ownership experience will depend on their eventual availability, practical performance and ability to deliver tangible benefits.
