OMODA | JAECOO Malaysia is stepping up efforts to improve its after-sales service standards with the OMODA | JAECOO Technical Skills Competition 2026, an initiative designed to enhance technicians’ technical knowledge, diagnostic abilities and vehicle repair skills across its nationwide network. Held under the theme “Sharpening Skills, Shaping Futures”, the competition provides a platform for technicians to demonstrate their expertise through theoretical and practical assessments.

It also recognises outstanding talent while encouraging continuous learning and professional development as automotive technologies become increasingly sophisticated. Beyond testing technical proficiency, the initiative reflects the importance of having a skilled after-sales workforce capable of maintaining vehicle reliability, safety and service quality throughout the ownership journey.

Chris Tan, Head of OMODA | JAECOO Malaysia, said customer satisfaction remains central to the brand’s approach, extending beyond the initial vehicle purchase to every subsequent interaction with its after-sales team. He added that the company continues to strengthen its technicians’ knowledge and capabilities to give customers greater confidence in the servicing, repairs and support they receive.

As modern vehicles incorporate increasingly advanced technologies, technicians must keep pace with evolving systems and diagnostic requirements. Initiatives such as the Technical Skills Competition therefore provide opportunities to refine practical expertise, reinforce service standards and prepare the workforce for future challenges. The programme also supports OMODA | JAECOO Malaysia’s wider efforts to strengthen its after-sales capabilities as its presence in the local market expands.

The company currently operates a nationwide network of 56 showrooms and 53 service centres, providing customers with access to vehicle sales and after-sales support across Malaysia. Its growing footprint underscores the importance of maintaining consistent service quality and technical competency across its operations. Through the 2026 competition, OMODA | JAECOO Malaysia aims to continue developing its technical talent while reinforcing its focus on service excellence and customer satisfaction, ensuring that the ownership experience remains a priority long after customers leave the showroom.
