Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia is expanding its charging benefits for owners, extending its exclusive RM1.20/kWh DC charging rate to every DC Handal charging station nationwide. The latest initiative, introduced under the Zeekr Power ecosystem, gives Zeekr owners broader access to more affordable fast charging as the brand continues to grow its presence in Malaysia. The expansion comes as Zeekr’s local owner community surpasses 5,000 vehicles, highlighting the company’s increasing focus on developing an ownership experience that goes beyond the vehicle itself.

Previously available only at selected Zeekr Power x DC Handal locations, the RM1.20/kWh rate can now be enjoyed by Zeekr owners at all DC Handal stations across the country. This provides greater flexibility for owners when planning longer journeys or carrying out quick charging stops. According to Eddy Lu, General Manager of Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia, the expansion is part of the company’s efforts to ensure that ownership benefits keep pace with the growth of its customer base.

“As our owner community expands, we want to ensure that the benefits of ownership grow with them. By extending the RM1.20/kWh special DC charging rate across all DC Handal charging stations nationwide, we are making fast charging more accessible and rewarding for all Zeekr owners,” said Lu. He added that Zeekr Malaysia would continue working with Charge Point Operators (CPOs) to improve access to ultra-fast charging and strengthen the wider EV ownership ecosystem.

The partnership with DC Handal forms part of Zeekr Malaysia’s broader charging strategy, which also includes an ambition to establish 30 Zeekr Power charging stations nationwide over the next three years. Together, these initiatives are intended to improve charging accessibility while providing greater convenience and long-term value for Zeekr customers.

To access the RM1.20/kWh charging rate, Zeekr owners need to download the ChargEV app and register for an account. They must then complete the Zeekr owner onboarding form and ensure that the email address used on the form matches the email address registered to their ChargEV account. Once activated, the owner-exclusive rate can be used at any DC Handal charging station nationwide.
