Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia has reached a new milestone with 5,000 cumulative vehicle deliveries in the country, underscoring the brand’s growing presence in Malaysia’s premium electric vehicle (EV) market. To commemorate the achievement, the company has unveiled a series of customer-focused initiatives aimed at improving the overall ownership experience through expanded warranty coverage, complimentary vehicle inspections and a dedicated charging network.

The latest milestone comes less than two years after the brand entered the Malaysian market, highlighting increasing consumer confidence in Zeekr’s range of premium electric vehicles. Rather than focusing solely on sales figures, the company says the achievement reflects the growth of its owner community and its commitment to supporting customers throughout the entire ownership journey.

One of the key announcements is the introduction of the Zeekr Extended Warranty Programme. Available to new owners within seven days of taking delivery, the programme has also been extended to existing Zeekr customers, who can subscribe to the plan until 30 September 2026.

The programme is offered in two tiers. The Silver Plan extends both the vehicle and high-voltage component warranties to eight years or 160,000km, while the Gold Plan increases the mileage limit to 180,000km. Warranty repairs will be carried out at authorised Zeekr service centres using genuine parts and factory-trained technicians, providing owners with greater long-term protection while helping reduce unexpected maintenance costs.

In addition to the warranty programme, Zeekr Malaysia is offering complimentary EV health inspections at all authorised service centres nationwide until 30 September 2026. The inspection covers essential systems including the high-voltage battery, electric powertrain, body control module (BCM), undercarriage and low-voltage battery. Owners are encouraged to book appointments in advance to minimise waiting times.

Beyond aftersales support, Zeekr has also introduced Zeekr Power, its dedicated ultra-fast charging ecosystem designed to improve charging accessibility for customers across Malaysia. The company plans to establish 30 Zeekr Power charging stations nationwide over the next three years as part of its long-term infrastructure strategy.

The first phase of the rollout is being carried out in partnership with DC Handal, with charging locations positioned along major travel routes including the North-South Expressway. The chargers are capable of delivering up to 400kW, with selected locations designed to support future upgrades of up to 640kW.

Current and upcoming Zeekr Power × DC Handal locations include Amanjaya Mall in Sungai Petani, Sunway Carnival Mall in Penang, MH Hotel in Ipoh and Sunway Pyramid in Petaling Jaya. Additional charging hubs at the PLUS Plaza Toll Sungkai in Perak and PLUS Plaza Toll Bukit Gambir in Johor are currently under construction and are expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of this year.

As an introductory benefit, Zeekr owners will enjoy a promotional DC charging rate of RM1.20 per kWh at participating Zeekr Power × DC Handal charging stations.

According to Zeekr Malaysia, the latest initiatives are part of a broader strategy to strengthen its premium EV ecosystem by combining vehicle ownership with comprehensive aftersales support, reliable charging infrastructure and long-term customer care.
