Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia has officially introduced the 2026 Zeekr X, a refreshed version of its premium urban electric SUV that places lifestyle, convenience, and performance at the forefront of the driving experience. Built around the theme “Boldly Yours,” the latest Zeekr X is designed to meet the evolving needs of modern Malaysians who balance work, wellness, social activities, and urban mobility in their daily lives.
The launch took place at a lifestyle-inspired event that highlighted movement, fitness, fashion, and personal wellbeing, reflecting the brand’s vision of integrating electric mobility into contemporary living. More than simply a means of transportation, the 2026 Zeekr X has been developed as a companion for active lifestyles, combining advanced EV technology with thoughtful design and everyday practicality.
According to Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia General Manager Eddy Lu, the new model reflects how personal mobility is increasingly intertwined with lifestyle and convenience. He noted that the upgraded Zeekr X offers enhanced performance, refined cabin features, and a stronger design identity, making it an ideal choice for customers seeking an electric vehicle that fits naturally into every aspect of their lives.
One of the key highlights of the 2026 Zeekr X is its expanded list of standard features across both variants. These include automatic front doors, an intelligent interactive B-pillar, a multifunction steering wheel with touch controls, and an innovative built-in refrigerator. Designed with everyday usability in mind, the automatic doors provide added convenience when carrying shopping bags or sports equipment, while the built-in fridge can either cool beverages or heat food and drinks up to 50°C, making it practical for both daily commutes and longer journeys.
Practicality has also been enhanced through a larger 404-litre luggage compartment, offering more space for sports gear, travel essentials, and everyday items. Whether heading to the gym, embarking on a weekend getaway, or managing a busy schedule around the city, the increased cargo capacity makes the Zeekr X more versatile than ever.
Charging convenience remains a strong selling point, with support for up to 150kW DC fast charging. This enables the battery to recharge from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 30 minutes, allowing owners to spend less time waiting and more time enjoying their day.
Inside the cabin, the 2026 Zeekr X introduces several refinements tailored to different customer preferences. The Premium Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) variant now delivers 250kW of power and 373Nm of torque, paired with 11kW AC charging and a WLTP-rated driving range of up to 445 kilometres. It also receives a fresh white-and-black dual-tone interior, newly designed 19-inch wheels, a head-up display, and an exclusive Porcelain Pink exterior finish, creating a youthful and stylish appearance.
For those seeking a more dynamic driving experience, the Flagship All-Wheel Drive (AWD) variant raises performance significantly with 365kW and 573Nm of torque. The high-output setup enables the SUV to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.7 seconds. Additional upgrades include 22kW AC charging capability, a WLTP-rated range of up to 415 kilometres, ventilated and massage-equipped front seats, a black interior accented by red seatbelts, and distinctive 20-inch black forged wheels. Exclusive exterior colours such as Onyx Black and Matte Khaki Green further enhance its sporty and premium appeal.
Safety remains a priority throughout the range. The Zeekr X comes equipped with seven airbags and a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), supported by five high-definition cameras, five millimetre-wave radars, and twelve ultrasonic sensors. Key features include autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, automatic lane change, lane centring control, lane keeping assistance, blind spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, automated parking assistance, evasive manoeuvre support, and driver monitoring technology.
Beyond safety, the Zeekr X offers an extensive list of premium equipment that distinguishes it within its segment. Standard features include LED headlamps with a light show function, a powered tailgate, a panoramic sunroof with heat protection, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a 50W wireless charging pad, a 13-speaker Yamaha sound system, and 17-zone ambient lighting that synchronises with music playback.
The refreshed model also expands its colour palette with three new exterior options while retaining the existing Crystal White and Grid Grey choices, allowing customers greater freedom to personalise their vehicle.
In Malaysia, the 2026 Zeekr X is priced at RM158,800 for the Premium RWD variant and RM175,800 for the Flagship AWD variant. Ownership benefits include a five-year or 150,000-kilometre vehicle warranty, an eight-year or 160,000-kilometre warranty for the high-voltage battery and related components, as well as one year of complimentary connected services with 6GB of monthly data.
To make premium electric mobility more accessible, Zeekr Malaysia is also introducing a special financing programme in partnership with Public Bank and Maybank. The initiative allows customers to place their entire down payment on a credit card with interest-free instalments of up to 48 months, while also benefiting from hire purchase rates starting from as low as 1.18 percent. Customers who choose not to utilise the financing package will instead receive a complimentary 22kW wallbox charger and a portable three-pin charger.
