Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) has reaffirmed its support for Malaysian football by extending its partnership with Selangor FC, continuing its role as the club’s Official Mobility Partner. The renewed agreement marks the next phase of a collaboration that has grown beyond sponsorship, focusing on community engagement, sporting excellence, and the development of local football.

As part of the renewed partnership, Hyundai Motor Malaysia will provide Selangor FC with a Hyundai Tucson Prestige to support the transportation needs of the club’s management, staff, and officials throughout the 2026/2027 season. Equipped with advanced technology, comfort, and versatility, the SUV is expected to play a key role in ensuring seamless mobility for the team during domestic and regional competitions.

The extension follows a successful first year of collaboration, during which Selangor FC enjoyed a strong campaign, including a third-place finish in the Malaysia Super League and a runners-up position in the ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup™. These achievements further strengthened Hyundai’s confidence in supporting the club’s ambitions on and off the pitch.

According to Hyundai Motor Malaysia Managing Director Jahabarnisa Haja Mohideen, the success of the initial partnership demonstrated how progress and performance can complement one another. Another notable initiative was the “HMY Sentiasa di Sisi Anda x SFC Cahaya Ramadan 2026” programme, which provided assistance to 150 underprivileged students from Bait Al-Hasanah in Klang. Through the combined efforts of Hyundai, Selangor FC, and supporting partners, the programme delivered essential items, educational supplies, food assistance, and financial aid to benefit the students and their families.
