Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia has successfully launched the inaugural Zeekr Dynamic event at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC), marking a significant milestone in the brand’s efforts to strengthen its growing electric vehicle community across Southeast Asia.
Designed as Zeekr’s premier driving experience programme, Zeekr Dynamic combines performance, advanced technology, and driver engagement in a unique track-focused environment. The event attracted nearly 500 Zeekr owners and their families from Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam, highlighting the increasing popularity of premium electric mobility throughout the region.
The full-day programme placed the spotlight on the Zeekr 7X and Zeekr X, giving participants the rare opportunity to explore the capabilities of both vehicles in a professional track setting. Through a series of structured driving activities, owners were able to experience the performance, handling, and safety technologies of their vehicles beyond typical daily driving conditions.
According to Eddy Lu, General Manager of Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia, Malaysia was chosen to host the first edition of Zeekr Dynamic due to its importance as one of the brand’s key Southeast Asian markets. He noted that the event was created to allow customers to fully appreciate the precision, control, and performance characteristics that define the Zeekr driving experience.
A major highlight of the event was a range of professionally supervised track exercises designed to demonstrate the vehicles’ advanced engineering and safety systems. Participants navigated obstacle avoidance challenges that showcased the effectiveness of electronic stability controls during sudden manoeuvres, while slalom courses emphasised steering responsiveness, chassis balance, and agility.
Drivers also experienced emergency braking exercises that highlighted braking efficiency, stability, and anti-lock braking system performance under demanding conditions. Lane change manoeuvres demonstrated the capabilities of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including lane-keeping and lane departure warning functions, while controlled convoy sessions on the circuit allowed participants to build confidence in acceleration and braking at higher speeds.
These activities provided owners with valuable hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of how Zeekr’s technologies contribute to safety, control, and driving enjoyment in real-world situations.
Beyond the circuit action, Zeekr Dynamic was designed as a lifestyle-focused festival that catered to the entire family. Guests enjoyed a variety of interactive attractions, including the Zeekr Track Challenge Passport programme, which rewarded participants for completing activities throughout the day.
Additional entertainment included reaction-based games, precision-driving challenges, and a racing simulator experience that allowed visitors to virtually tackle the renowned Sepang Circuit. Family-friendly zones, children’s activities, food trucks, and hospitality areas further enhanced the festive atmosphere, ensuring an enjoyable experience for attendees of all ages.
