The Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2026 (KLIMS 2026) is set to take center stage from 12 to 21 June at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), offering visitors an exceptional opportunity to explore the latest developments in mobility and electric vehicle technology at a critical moment for Malaysia’s automotive industry.

The event comes just weeks before the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry’s (MITI) new policy on completely built-up (CBU) electric vehicles takes effect on 1 July 2026. With changes expected to influence vehicle pricing, KLIMS 2026 provides consumers with a timely platform to evaluate and secure their preferred EV models before the new regulations are implemented.

Bringing together a diverse range of automotive manufacturers and mobility providers, KLIMS 2026 will showcase the latest vehicles, innovations, and technologies shaping the future of transportation. Visitors can engage directly with industry specialists and EV technology experts to gain a deeper understanding of electric vehicle ownership, charging infrastructure, and Malaysia’s evolving sustainable mobility landscape.

One of the key attractions at this year’s show is the extensive test-drive programme, featuring more than 60 vehicles from multiple brands. This allows potential buyers to compare different models and technologies in a single location, helping them make informed purchasing decisions.

In addition to vehicle displays and test-drive opportunities, participating brands will be offering exclusive promotions, special ownership packages, booking incentives, and limited-time deals available only during the event. These offers may prove particularly attractive for buyers considering an EV purchase before the upcoming policy changes take effect.

Whether attending as a first-time EV buyer, a seasoned automotive enthusiast, or someone simply interested in the future of mobility, visitors can expect an engaging and informative experience throughout the ten-day exhibition.

To make the event accessible to a wide audience, KLIMS 2026 has introduced several ticketing options. The Unlimited Access Pass, priced at RM80, grants entry throughout the entire show period, averaging just RM11.40 per day. Visitors attending in groups can take advantage of a five-person bundle package priced at RM100, reducing the cost to RM20 per person.

Admission remains free for all visitors on weekdays from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, weekends, and public holidays, adult tickets are priced at RM30, while senior citizens, persons with disabilities (OKU), and students with valid identification can enter for RM15. Children below 12 years old enjoy free admission throughout the event.

To enhance convenience, KLIMS 2026 will provide complimentary transportation services, including bus transfers from MRT Titiwangsa and LRT Pasar Seni stations. Additional shuttle services will operate from the MATRADE open car park and the National Hockey Stadium, while van services will connect visitors from eight nearby locations, including Publika Shopping Centre, Hyatt Midtown Hotel, MATRADE, MITI, Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Jalan Duta, the Hockey Stadium, Tennis Stadium, and Mahkamah Masjid Persekutuan.

As Malaysia’s premier mobility showcase returns in 2026, KLIMS promises not only to highlight the latest automotive innovations but also to serve as a strategic platform for consumers preparing for the next phase of the country’s electric vehicle transition.
