The Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) is set to make a highly anticipated return in 2026, reaffirming its role as Malaysia’s premier automotive and mobility exhibition. Scheduled to take place from 12 to 21 June 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), the 11th edition of the event will once again carry the theme “Beyond Mobility”, highlighting the industry’s transformation towards electrification, smart mobility solutions, and sustainable transportation.
Bringing together leading global and local automotive brands, policymakers, industry experts, and consumers under one roof, KLIMS 2026 promises to be its most ambitious edition yet. The exhibition reflects the rapid evolution of Malaysia’s automotive industry as it continues to embrace technological innovation and future-ready mobility solutions.
According to Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) President, Mr. Mohd Shamsor bin Mohd Zain, the country’s automotive industry continues to show strong momentum, with the Total Industry Volume reaching 820,752 units in 2025. He noted that the industry’s resilience is supported by continued government initiatives aimed at accelerating sustainability, electrification, and investment in the local automotive ecosystem.
Spanning over 30,000 square metres across seven exhibition halls at MITEC, KLIMS 2026 will showcase an extensive lineup of vehicles, concept cars, and new model launches from participating brands. Confirmed manufacturers include Dongfeng, GWM, Honda, Hyundai, Jetour, Kia, Maxus, Mazda, MG Motor, Nissan, Perodua, Proton, Proton e.MAS, smart, Toyota, Wuling, XPENG, and Zeekr, alongside numerous automotive accessories and service providers.
Beyond the traditional motor show experience, KLIMS 2026 is positioning itself as a lifestyle and entertainment destination for Malaysians of all ages. Visitors can expect a wide variety of attractions, activities, and interactive experiences throughout the 10-day event.
One of the major highlights this year is the debut of Urban Play, a specially designed obstacle course that challenges vehicle power, precision, and handling capabilities. The event will also feature a collaboration with Riuh, bringing live entertainment and creative activities during the final weekend of the show.
Attendees can look forward to performances by Malaysian artists including FUGŌ, Kyoto Protocol, Adrian Danial, and TY:DEL, as well as drumline showcases by Voice of Percussion and fusion dance acts by Siluman Production. The entertainment lineup will also include a live recording session of The Overdrive Session Automotive Podcast and a Hobbyist Hub featuring local marketplace vendors.
Automotive enthusiasts will have plenty to enjoy as well, with attractions such as DJ Playground, Modified Car Battle competitions, race car and flight simulator challenges, remote control car tracks, and over 200 cars from various car clubs on display. More than 60 vehicles will also be available for public test drives, giving visitors a chance to experience the latest models firsthand.
KLIMS 2026 continues to receive strong backing from key industry organisations and government-linked agencies. The event is organised by the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) and managed by Qube Integrated Malaysia, in collaboration with the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) and the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), both operating under the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI).
Additionally, the event has been recognised under Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau’s “Meet in Malaysia” initiative and Tourism Malaysia’s “Visit Malaysia 2026” campaign, reinforcing KLIMS’ position as an internationally recognised mobility and business event.
Qube Integrated Malaysia Executive Chairman, Mr. Richard Teo, described KLIMS as more than just a motor show, highlighting its role in bringing together enthusiasts, brands, policymakers, and the wider Malaysian community through engaging experiences and innovation-driven showcases.
To ensure accessibility for all visitors, KLIMS 2026 offers flexible ticketing options. Entry will be free for all visitors on weekdays from Monday to Thursday, while weekend and public holiday tickets are priced at RM30 for adults. Discounts are available for senior citizens, OKU visitors, and students with valid identification. Visitors seeking the full experience can opt for the Unlimited Access Pass priced at RM80, while group visitors can enjoy a five-person bundle package at RM100.
To improve accessibility, shuttle and bus services will be provided from multiple locations including MRT Titiwangsa, LRT Pasar Seni, MATRADE, Publika Shopping Centre, Hyatt Midtown Hotel, and several nearby transport hubs and parking areas.
