The seventh edition of the Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Exhibition (MCVE) has officially opened its doors, bringing together a record number of exhibitors, industry experts, and transport solutions providers in what is now recognised as Southeast Asia’s largest commercial vehicle exhibition. Held over three days at the Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre, MCVE 2026 was launched by Loke Siew Fook and marks the most internationally diverse edition of the expo to date.
Widely regarded as Malaysia’s premier platform for future transport and logistics solutions, MCVE 2026 showcases the latest developments across the commercial vehicle ecosystem, from heavy-duty trucks and digital logistics systems to safety innovations and emerging lifestyle mobility trends. Organisers reported a substantial increase in exhibitor participation compared to the previous edition, with overseas companies accounting for a significant portion of the growth.
Among the key exhibitors this year are Angka-Tan Motor, which occupies one of the event’s prime exhibition spaces while also hosting the official press conference. New participants including JAC Motors, Trucks Dotcom, and Handal BCM have made a strong entrance with large-scale showcases, while returning exhibitor Allegiance Malaysia commands the largest exhibition footprint at this year’s event.
One of the biggest milestones for MCVE 2026 is the introduction of its first-ever Country Pavilion, featuring seven Taiwanese companies. The Taiwanese delegation represents the largest group of overseas exhibitors at the show and reflects Malaysia’s growing importance as a strategic hub for the automotive and transport sectors in the region. According to organiser Stefan Pertz, the strong international turnout demonstrates the positive perception of Malaysia within the global automotive industry and highlights the country’s increasing role in regional market expansion.
Beyond vehicle displays and product launches, MCVE 2026 places strong emphasis on industry dialogue and knowledge sharing. The Association of Malaysian Hauliers is using the exhibition as a platform for its “The State of the Haulage Industry @ MCVE 2026” Coffee Talks series, covering topics such as industry perception, AI readiness, rebuilt trucks, and road safety. The sessions are expected to provide meaningful insights into current challenges and future developments affecting Malaysia’s haulage sector.
Adding further depth to the event is the inclusion of CargoNOW Malaysia, a logistics and supply chain conference organised in collaboration with Singapore-based LogiSYM. Running alongside MCVE on 15 May, the one-day conference explores practical solutions for modern logistics operations, with particular focus on overcoming inefficiencies caused by fragmented systems and siloed operational management.
This year’s exhibition also introduces a new Experience Zone, reflecting the rising popularity of camping and caravan tourism in Malaysia. Curated by Asian Trucker, the zone highlights the growing interest in outdoor and flexible travel lifestyles following the pandemic. One of the key attractions is the specially modified Mercedes Unimog “Moggy,” transported from Australia to demonstrate the concept of mobile living using a converted military vehicle. Recreational vehicles from Asia RV are also being offered with special promotions throughout the exhibition period.
MCVE 2026 is further supported by a broad range of sponsors and industry partners, including Hengst, Hap Seng Trucks Distribution, City Zone Express, Sidhu Brothers, Mr Coffee, and JMC, all contributing to the expansion and evolution of the exhibition.
As the commercial vehicle industry continues to adapt to changing transport demands, digitalisation, and sustainability goals, MCVE 2026 positions itself as a vital platform for collaboration, innovation, and market development. By gathering manufacturers, fleet operators, logistics specialists, and technology providers under one roof, the exhibition highlights the essential role commercial vehicles play in strengthening supply chains, supporting economic growth, and advancing mobility solutions across Malaysia and the wider ASEAN region.
MCVE 2026 runs daily from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm, with free admission for visitors. More information is available at MCVE Official Website.
