Global premium electric mobility brand Zeekr has unveiled its latest flagship SUV, the Zeekr 8X, marking a significant step forward in the brand’s evolution. Developed under the Geely Auto Group umbrella, the new model joins the Zeekr 9X to form a dual-flagship lineup that strengthens Zeekr’s presence in the high-performance luxury SUV segment.
Underpinning the Zeekr 8X is the advanced SEA-S architecture paired with the cutting-edge Super Electric Power (SEP) Hybrid System. This combination delivers a seamless fusion of electrified performance and refined driving dynamics, positioning the 8X as a benchmark for next-generation hybrid SUVs. Its 900V high-voltage electrical system, high-performance all-wheel-drive setup, and Haohan AI Digital Chassis collectively ensure exceptional power delivery, responsiveness, and stability across varying driving conditions.
Performance is a defining highlight of the Zeekr 8X. In its top-spec three-motor Flagship Edition, the SUV sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.96 seconds—earning it the title of the world’s fastest-accelerating hybrid SUV. This remarkable figure underscores Zeekr’s ambition to rival traditional performance marques while maintaining the efficiency of a hybrid powertrain.
Despite its performance credentials, the Zeekr 8X does not compromise on comfort. Designed as a flagship five-seater, it challenges the long-held belief that high performance comes at the expense of luxury. The cabin offers MPV-like spaciousness, complemented by lounge-inspired seating comfort reminiscent of the iconic Eames Lounge Chair. Enhancing the in-car experience further is a premium audio system by Naim, delivering a class-leading sound environment.
On the technology front, the Zeekr 8X introduces a new level of vehicle intelligence. It is the first model to integrate a cabin-and-driving unified super intelligence system, redefining how drivers interact with their vehicles. At the core of this system is “Super Eva,” an advanced voice assistant built on the World Action Model (WAM). Acting as a central command hub, it seamlessly connects with key vehicle systems, including the G-ASD 4.0 driver assistance suite, chassis control, and powertrain management, enabling a truly intuitive and intelligent driving experience.
The Zeekr 8X is offered in multiple variants, with prices ranging from RMB 356,800 to RMB 426,800, while the range-topping Flagship Edition is priced at RMB 500,800.
