JETOUR is looking to redefine the way people experience travel, moving beyond the traditional idea of driving from one destination to another to create journeys that combine technology, adventure, relaxation and a deeper connection with nature. This vision will take centre stage at the 2026 JETOUR Global Technology Experience Day, taking place from October 20 to 23 across Wuhu in Anhui Province and Moganshan in Zhejiang Province, China.
Held under the theme “Future Travel Starts Now,” the event will bring together international media representatives, content creators and users for a closer look at how the brand’s latest technologies and vehicles can enhance real-world travel experiences. At the heart of the initiative is JETOUR’s “Travel+” strategy, which combines technological innovation, vehicle development and lifestyle experiences to transform the automobile into more than just a mode of transportation. Instead, the brand envisions vehicles becoming a “mobile third space” where people can explore, unwind and enjoy the journey just as much as the destination.
As travel takes drivers beyond city streets and onto more challenging terrain, JETOUR is focusing on technologies that improve vehicle capability, adaptability and efficiency. Drawing on the wider group’s expertise in artificial intelligence, intelligent driving systems, smart cabins and AiMOGA Robotics, the brand aims to translate advanced engineering into practical benefits for drivers and passengers.
One of its key technologies is the XWD Fully Automatic Intelligent Four-Wheel Drive system, which features seven preset driving modes alongside additional intelligent modes under its 7+X configuration. Designed to help vehicles tackle different driving conditions, the system supports journeys across mountain roads, gravel tracks, water crossings and steep slopes. Complementing this is the GAIA All-Terrain Intelligent Architecture, which provides the technical foundation for adapting vehicles to a variety of landscapes and travel scenarios.
Meanwhile, JETOUR’s C-DM hybrid technology is designed to balance driving performance with energy efficiency, making it suitable for longer journeys. On October 21, participants will get behind the wheel of vehicles equipped with these technologies during mountain-road test drives and off-road experiences in Moganshan. The activities will demonstrate how JETOUR’s engineering performs beyond conventional road conditions.
JETOUR’s vision of travel also recognises that not everyone is looking for the same kind of adventure. Some may prefer comfortable daily driving, while others want to venture off the beaten path or spend a night under the stars. Its growing vehicle lineup is designed to cater to these different lifestyles. The G700 combines premium comfort with serious off-road capability, while the T1 and T2 offer versatility for urban use and lighter off-road excursions.
The experience can also be extended through lifestyle accessories and equipment, including roof tents, onboard refrigerators and panoramic sunroofs. These features help transform a vehicle into a more versatile travel companion, providing opportunities to relax, enjoy the outdoors and make longer stops along the way. To bring this concept to life, the Technology Experience Day will feature a camping market and Starry Night Forum. Rather than simply showcasing vehicle specifications, these activities will place JETOUR’s products in a lifestyle setting, illustrating how travel can bring together exploration, relaxation and social interaction.
For JETOUR, the future of travel is not solely about vehicle technology or discovering new destinations. The brand also sees travel as an opportunity to engage with local communities, appreciate different cultures and contribute to environmental conservation. As part of the event, participants will visit Xiazhu Lake in Zhejiang Province to take part in a crested ibis conservation initiative. Activities such as nest weaving and releasing fish fry will provide a hands-on introduction to local ecological protection efforts.
The initiative reflects JETOUR’s broader conservation activities around the world. Its efforts include cheetah conservation in Africa, turtle conservation in Malaysia, harpy eagle conservation in Panama and the protection of the markhor, Pakistan’s national animal. These programmes form part of a wider effort to connect automotive travel with environmental awareness, demonstrating how journeys can create opportunities to learn about and contribute to the places people visit.
Beyond nature conservation, JETOUR has also established partnerships with organisations across sports and culture, including Chilean football club Colo-Colo, the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and the Malaysia Marathon. Through these collaborations, the brand continues to build connections with local sporting communities and cultural audiences, expanding its interpretation of “Travel+” beyond the vehicle itself.
The 2026 JETOUR Global Technology Experience Day will bring these different elements together across urban environments, mountain landscapes and wetland ecosystems from October 20 to 23. By combining technology demonstrations, driving experiences, outdoor activities and conservation initiatives, JETOUR aims to illustrate how mobility can evolve into a more immersive and meaningful part of everyday life.
The broader message is that the future of travel is not simply about reaching places faster or venturing farther from home. It is also about making the journey more enjoyable, adapting to different lifestyles and creating stronger connections with the environment and the people encountered along the way. Through its “Travel+” strategy, JETOUR is working to turn that vision into a tangible experience, with the aim of making the next generation of travel more capable, comfortable and connected.
