Following its Malaysian preview at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2026, the JETOUR G700 is moving from the show floor to some of the world’s most challenging landscapes as it joins renowned explorer and survivalist Ed Stafford in Season 2 of Discovery’s Adventure of Extremes. The collaboration between JETOUR Auto and Discovery will see the adventure-focused SUV tested across remote wilderness, rugged mountain terrain and volcanic landscapes spanning three continents, putting its capabilities to the test in environments where conditions can change without warning.

Stafford, famously known as the “Modern Robinson Crusoe”, is no stranger to extreme environments. He became the first person to walk the entire length of the Amazon River and has since built an international reputation through a series of demanding survival challenges. In Adventure of Extremes Season 2, the JETOUR G700 will serve as Stafford’s mobile exploration base as he tackles some of the same environments featured in his latest solo survival adventures. These include Ecuador, Colombia, Morocco and Iceland, where Stafford faces the elements without food, tools or a camera crew.

The partnership follows the success of Marooned with Ed Stafford: Chapter of Water, which generated 360 million global impressions in 2025 and received a Gold Award in the Reality Series category at the 2025 Telly Awards. The upcoming Marooned with Ed Stafford: Chapter of Fire continues Stafford’s extreme survival format, while the G700 brings a new automotive dimension to the same spirit of exploration. Rather than simply showcasing the SUV in controlled driving conditions, Adventure of Extremes places it directly within unpredictable natural environments.

This approach reflects JETOUR’s “Beyond the Horizon” philosophy, which centres on going further, exploring the unknown and embracing challenges along the way. It also supports the brand’s “Travel+” strategy, using real-world adventure as a platform to demonstrate vehicle capability. For the G700, the series provides an opportunity to showcase its engineering and off-road credentials under genuine environmental pressures, with the vehicle facing terrain and conditions that cannot easily be replicated in conventional automotive testing or promotional drives.

For Malaysian audiences, the series offers a different perspective on the G700, combining off-road exploration, survival and adventure as Stafford ventures through some of the planet’s most demanding landscapes. Short episodes of Adventure of Extremes Season 2 began rolling out in August 2026, with additional episodes being released progressively.
