Hyundai Motor Malaysia has strengthened its presence in northern Malaysia with the official opening of Hyundai Juru, GBM, a new 4S dealership operated in partnership with Goh Brothers Motor Sdn Bhd.

Located in Bukit Tengah, Pulau Pinang, the new outlet forms part of Hyundai Motor Malaysia’s nationwide network expansion strategy as the company works towards its target of having 25 outlets across Malaysia by the end of 2026. The new facility is designed to provide customers with a more comprehensive Hyundai experience, bringing vehicle sales, servicing, genuine spare parts, and body and paint services together under one roof.

“Penang is one of Malaysia’s most important economic and innovation hubs, making it a strategic hub for Hyundai. Goh Brothers Motor is a highly respected automotive group with deep roots in the northern region and a proven track record of delivering quality customer experiences,” said Ms Jahabarnisa Haja Mohideen, Managing Director of Hyundai Motor Malaysia. She added that Goh Brothers Motor’s understanding of the northern market and experience in automotive operations would make the company an important partner as Hyundai continues to expand its network.

The Hyundai Juru, GBM facility spans 1,432 square metres and features eight service bays, allowing it to cater to both new and existing Hyundai customers in the region. Beyond its role as a conventional Hyundai dealership, the outlet also has an important distinction as an exclusive Hyundai N dealer. This gives customers in northern Malaysia direct access to Hyundai’s high-performance N sub-brand alongside the brand’s mainstream range.

The Hyundai lineup available at the outlet includes popular models such as the SANTA FE, TUCSON and STARIA, while Hyundai N products provide an alternative for customers seeking a more performance-oriented driving experience. Hyundai introduced the N brand to the Malaysian market at KLIMS 2026 with the IONIQ 5 N and IONIQ 6 N, bringing the brand’s high-performance electric vehicle technology to local customers.

To mark the grand opening, Hyundai Goh Brothers is also running its GBM Grand Opening Total Care campaign until 31 August 2026. The campaign offers Hyundai owners a complimentary 26-point vehicle health check, up to 10% off genuine Hyundai parts, and up to 20% off labour charges for service invoices exceeding RM500. The initiatives are intended to encourage regular vehicle maintenance while giving existing Hyundai owners additional value when visiting the newly opened facility.

The opening ceremony also included the first vehicle handover at Hyundai Juru, GBM, with Mohammad Nizar Bin Abdul Salam becoming the dealership’s inaugural customer. The 52-year-old Planning Manager chose the Hyundai SANTA FE Prestige HEV, citing its spacious cabin, comfort, safety technology and suitability for family road trips as key factors behind his decision. For families covering long distances, the SANTA FE Prestige HEV combines its spacious and practical interior with hybrid powertrain efficiency and Hyundai SmartSense safety technology.
