Cadillac is taking its V-Series performance philosophy to an entirely new level with the V-ONE Concept, a one-of-one single-seat concept study that combines the authenticity of its race-winning machinery with the craftsmanship and refinement expected of Cadillac. The name itself reflects the concept’s purpose, bringing together Cadillac’s V-Series performance heritage with a unique single-seat configuration that is a first for the brand. Rather than simply borrowing visual cues from motorsport, the V-ONE is built around genuine competition-derived engineering, drawing heavily from Cadillac’s V-Series.R LMDh race car.

Described by Cadillac as an exploration of the ultimate customer performance concept, the V-ONE was developed collaboratively by Cadillac Design, Cadillac Racing and chassis constructor Dallara. Its foundation is rooted in Cadillac’s LMDh racing programme, with the concept incorporating race-derived hardware across key areas including its suspension, transmission and selected electronic systems.

“The Cadillac V-ONE Concept is the ultimate manifestation of a customer performance concept and is a clear sign of our ambition for the Cadillac V-Series brand in the future,” said Dominic Najafi, Executive Design Director, Global Cadillac. The V-ONE is powered by a V-8 hybrid drivetrain producing a combined 830 horsepower, sharing its fundamental architecture with the V-Series.R race car. The concept also features shared suspension components, including double wishbones and pushrod-actuated coil and torsion spring elements, supported by lateral and heave dampers at both the front and rear.

Despite its prototype-inspired hardware, Cadillac says the V-ONE has been conceived to be more approachable to operate while retaining a comparable level of performance. An intuitive, race-inspired interface and data visualisation system is designed to provide the driver with clear information, feedback and coaching while exploring the car’s capabilities. The concept’s performance credentials are further strengthened by Cadillac Racing’s success since the V-Series.R made its competition debut in 2023. The programme has accumulated 10 wins, 16 pole positions and 32 podium finishes across the IMSA WeatherTech Championship and FIA World Endurance Championship.

Those achievements include Cadillac’s 2023 IMSA WeatherTech Championship manufacturer, team and driver titles, the 2025 Le Mans Hyperpole and the marque’s first 1–2 finish in the FIA World Endurance Championship at São Paulo. Visually, the V-ONE retains the dramatic proportions and fundamental design intent of the V-Series.R, giving the concept an unmistakably authentic motorsport foundation.

Cadillac has nevertheless introduced bespoke elements to distinguish the V-ONE from its racing counterpart. A new V-Series wheel design and dark-persona V-Series badging reinforce its exclusive performance character, while the body is finished in a hand-sprayed gradient transitioning from silver to deep navy. The colour treatment is intended to evoke the changing conditions of an endurance race, representing the transition from day into night.

Inside, the V-ONE transforms its race-bred architecture into an intensely personal single-seat cockpit. Exposed carbon-fibre structures are combined with bespoke materials and a dedicated user interface to create an environment that feels closer to a personalised prototype than a conventional road-going performance car.

The steering wheel takes direct inspiration from racing machinery, with its button layout tailored to the customer and developed with input from Cadillac’s racing engineers. Material selection includes Cadillac Collection recycled fabrics, while a serialized plaque on the door reinforces the concept’s one-of-one character. The driver’s seat is also customised specifically to its intended occupant, further emphasising that the V-ONE is conceived as an individual expression of Cadillac performance rather than simply another performance model.

Ultimately, the V-ONE Concept represents Cadillac’s exploration of how far its V-Series philosophy could be taken when unrestricted by conventional production-car requirements. By combining genuine V-Series.R engineering with bespoke design and a highly personalised cockpit, the concept offers a glimpse at a future where Cadillac’s racing technology and luxury performance identity converge in an even more exclusive form.
