Kia Sales Malaysia has unveiled its bold and progressive vision for the future of mobility at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS 2026), presenting an expanded lineup of global models alongside a strengthened ownership ecosystem designed to elevate customer experience and long-term value.
Held at MITEC from June 12 to 21, 2026, the Kia Pavilion serves as an immersive showcase of the brand’s evolving direction—bringing together advanced design language, electrified powertrains, sustainable innovation, and customer-focused ownership solutions under one unified strategy.
Kia Sales Malaysia President and CEO Hyung Ho Kim described the event as a key milestone in the brand’s journey, highlighting the introduction of four global models as part of a broader effort to meet changing customer expectations through innovative mobility solutions.
Managing Director Emily Lek further reinforced the brand’s customer-first philosophy, emphasizing the introduction of the Kia TotalCare Program as Kia’s most comprehensive ownership promise to date. The initiative is positioned to strengthen confidence in both products and services while delivering long-term peace of mind for customers in Malaysia.
One of the highlights at KLIMS 2026 is the first Malaysian appearance of the Kia K4, displayed in GT-Line specification. The model reflects Kia’s latest “Opposites United” design philosophy, combining sporty aesthetics with everyday usability.
Under the hood, the K4 is powered by a 1.6-litre TGDI engine producing 193 PS and 265 Nm of torque, paired with a chassis tuned for balanced performance through McPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link rear setup. The sedan rides on 18-inch alloy wheels, further enhancing its stability and dynamic handling.
Inside, the K4 features a futuristic Integrated Panoramic Display system that includes dual 12.3-inch screens and a 5-inch climate display. Comfort and convenience features include wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and flexible rear seating configuration.
Kia’s commitment to electrification is strongly represented through three key models: the Kia EV4, Kia EV5, and Kia PV5, each reflecting different aspects of the brand’s future mobility strategy.
The Kia EV4, built on the E-GMP platform, represents the brand’s next-generation electric sedan vision. It delivers 150 kW of power and up to 612 km of WLTP range, with ultra-fast DC charging capability that can replenish 10–80% in approximately 29 minutes. It also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality, enhancing practicality beyond driving.
The Kia EV5 focuses on family-oriented electric mobility, combining performance and comfort with up to 230 kW of output and a WLTP range of up to 540 km. It features dual 12.3-inch displays, fingerprint authentication, premium interior materials, and V2L capability, reinforcing its position as a versatile electric SUV.
Meanwhile, the Kia PV5 introduces a new dimension to Kia’s product strategy as part of its Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) approach. Designed for commercial, logistics, and lifestyle applications, the PV5 Passenger variant delivers 120 kW of power and supports both V2L and V2X functions. The model has already earned global recognition, including multiple design and category awards, underscoring its innovative approach to mobility.
Alongside its future-focused models, Kia is also showcasing and offering test drives for two of its most popular SUVs: the Kia Carnival and Kia Sportage.
The Kia Carnival, available in 7-, 8-, and 11-seater configurations, is powered by a highly efficient diesel engine capable of delivering over 900 km of range on a single tank under WLTP conditions. With 202 PS and 440 Nm of torque, it remains a strong contender in the premium MPV segment.
The Kia Sportage, offered in both 2.0-litre naturally aspirated and 1.6-litre turbocharged variants, combines bold design with practical performance. Its long-wheelbase configuration and distinctive exterior styling, including boomerang-inspired LED lighting, continue to make it a standout in the SUV category.
A major highlight of Kia’s KLIMS 2026 presence is the introduction of the Kia TotalCare Program, a comprehensive ownership package designed to deliver enhanced value and reassurance.
