PRO-NET has officially partnered with four of Malaysia’s top Charging Point Operators (CPOs)—Charge+, ChargeSini, RExharge, and Charge N Go—to enhance electric vehicle (EV) charging access at residential condominiums nationwide. This collaboration is part of PRO-NET’s ongoing efforts to boost the national EV ecosystem and support the growing number of Proton e.MAS and smart vehicle owners in the country.
Speaking at the signing ceremony held at Proton’s Centre of Excellence in Subang Jaya, Mr. Zhang Qiang, CEO of PRO-NET, expressed the importance of the partnership: “Our collaboration with these CPOs is centered on simplifying and expanding EV ownership. High-rise residents face unique challenges when it comes to home charging, and this partnership brings charging stations closer to them, ensuring they have reliable and affordable options. It’s a significant step toward making the transition to electric vehicles more accessible and convenient.”
With this strategic alliance, Proton e.MAS and smart owners can now conveniently charge their vehicles at 320 condominium locations nationwide. This expansion follows PRO-NET’s earlier collaboration with EV Connection (EVC) in December 2024, bringing the total number of charging points at high-rise residential buildings to 1,053. These efforts contribute to Malaysia’s ambitious goal of achieving 90% coverage of public charging points across the nation, supplementing the existing 2,500 public charging stations.
Each of the four CPOs in this collaboration brings a unique strength to the table. Charge+, Singapore’s largest EV charging operator, is installing chargers at 18 condominiums as part of its regional expansion into Malaysia. Charge N Go, a specialist in residential and workplace charging, will bring its charging solutions to 93 condominium locations. ChargeSini, the largest local CPO with over 1,010 charging points across the country, is installing chargers at 204 condominium locations. Meanwhile, RExharge, a trusted clean energy solutions provider, will install chargers at five condominium sites, adding further reliability to the network.
In addition to increasing the number of charging stations, the partnership will also make EV ownership more affordable. By offering home charging at lower rates than typical public chargers, owners of Proton e.MAS and smart vehicles will enjoy reduced operational costs, making the switch to electric vehicles even more attractive.
To celebrate the launch of this partnership, PRO-NET is introducing a limited-time promotional campaign. From June 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, Proton e.MAS and smart owners will enjoy exclusive charging rates at participating condominium charging stations. Rates, which will vary depending on the provider and location, will start as low as RM0.75/kWh.
The special rates include:
- Charge+: RM0.75/kWh (AC Charging)
- ChargeSini: RM0.84/kWh (AC Charging) and RM1.11/kWh (DC Charging)
- RExharge: RM0.75/kWh (AC Charging) and RM0.99/kWh (DC Charging)
- Charge N Go: RM0.75/kWh (AC Charging)
These discounts will be available exclusively through the Proton e.MAS App, which integrates PRO-NET’s live charging map with each CPO’s platform. EV owners can expect to save up to RM150 to RM200 per month, especially compared to public charging rates.

This partnership not only strengthens Malaysia’s EV infrastructure but also makes it easier and more affordable for urban residents to transition to electric vehicles—ultimately contributing to a greener and more sustainable future.
