Motul brought its motorsport heritage closer to everyday riders during the Malaysian Grand Prix 2026, turning its presence at the Sepang International Circuit into an interactive showcase of how racing technology translates into real-world riding performance. Held from 30 October to 1 November, this year’s Malaysian MotoGP attracted more than 196,000 spectators, giving Motul an opportunity to connect with Malaysia’s passionate riding community through product displays, interactive experiences and exclusive activities with MotoGP personalities.

At the centre of the activation was a striking booth featuring a towering V-shaped arch symbolising victory. Under the theme “Thrill. Freedom. Flow. Made to Be Felt,” the space was divided into three dedicated zones, each representing a different aspect of motorcycling and highlighting how Motul’s lubricant technology caters to different riding needs. The Journey of Thrill zone celebrated the intensity of competitive racing, with the spotlight on Motul 300V 0W-30. Developed for high-performance applications, the racing-grade lubricant features Motul’s ESTER Core® technology, designed to deliver consistent horsepower under demanding conditions.

Moving away from the racetrack, the Journey of Freedom zone highlighted Motul 7100, a lubricant developed to support engine performance and protection during longer journeys. Meanwhile, the Journey of Flow zone focused on urban mobility, showcasing Motul Scooter Power LE MB, which is designed to handle the demands of daily commuting and frequent stop-and-go traffic. The three experiences reflected Motul’s long-standing involvement in motorsport, particularly its partnership with MotoGP. By developing and testing technologies under extreme racing conditions, the company aims to transfer the knowledge gained on the track into products suited to everyday motorcycles and scooters.

This connection between racing and everyday riding was also reflected in the introduction of Motul GP Travel Kits to Malaysian consumers. Available in Chain and Helmet editions, the compact kits offer convenient motorcycle care solutions for riders who want to maintain their machines while on the move.

“Our involvement in MotoGP is a long-term commitment, and every season pushes us to raise the bar for what our products can do. Seeing so many Malaysian riders at Sepang, from seasoned enthusiasts to everyday commuters, reminds us who that innovation is ultimately for,” said Ravi Shankar, General Manager of Motul Malaysia. “Malaysia’s riding community is among the most passionate we know, and we will continue to support riders here with products and experiences that bring the performance of the racetrack to every ride,” he added.

Beyond its product showcase, Motul also arranged opportunities for fans to get closer to the people behind the sport. On 31 October, 80 selected fans had the chance to meet Prima Pramac Racing Team riders Jack Miller and Augusto Fernández for photographs and autograph sessions. The following day, Motul Malaysia’s Ravi Shankar and Yvonne Ng, Senior Marketing Manager, took part in the prize presentation for the company’s ongoing 11 Weeks, 11 Bikes campaign. Two winners walked away with a Honda CB250R and a Peugeot Django Classic, representing the prizes for Weeks 6 and 7 respectively.

The campaign is scheduled to run until 8 November 2026, with a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25RR remaining as the grand prize. Interested participants can find the campaign details through Motul Malaysia’s Instagram page.

Another highlight of the weekend was the unveiling of the Peugeot Speedfight 4+ 150cc GP Edition, a MotoGP-inspired scooter that will be limited to just 50 units in Malaysia. Its introduction also highlighted Motul’s position as the official lubricant partner of Peugeot Motocycles in Malaysia.
