Parking at one of Kuala Lumpur’s busiest destinations is set to become a little more convenient, with Suria KLCC Car Park now joining Touch ’n Go Group’s growing Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) Parking network. The addition gives motorists another way to pay for parking, with registered vehicles automatically recognised when entering and leaving the car park. Parking fees are then deducted directly from the user’s Touch ’n Go eWallet balance, removing the need for a separate parking app or manual payment at the end of the visit.
With Suria KLCC now onboard, Touch ’n Go Group’s LPR Parking network has grown to more than 200 live locations across Malaysia. The network currently covers a variety of destinations, including shopping malls, commercial buildings, hospitals and hotels. The latest expansion was announced by Touch ’n Go Sdn. Bhd. and TNG Digital Sdn. Bhd. at the Touch ’n Go Connected Mobility Pavilion during MyARTTE 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur.
The launch was attended by Touch ’n Go Sdn. Bhd. CEO Praba Sangarajoo, TNG Digital Sdn. Bhd. CEO Alan Ni and representatives from KLCC. For motorists who have registered for LPR Parking, the process is designed to be largely hands-free. The system identifies the vehicle’s number plate at both entry and exit, with the corresponding parking fee automatically charged to the linked TNG eWallet account. Users will, however, need to ensure that their eWallet has sufficient balance to cover the parking charge. The service also taps into the established TNG eWallet ecosystem, which has more than 27 million users. Motorists can register their vehicles through the platform and use LPR Parking without having to download another dedicated parking application. “
Adding Suria KLCC Car Park to our LPR Parking network brings automatic parking payments to a destination that is part of everyday life for many Malaysians,” said Praba Sangarajoo. “Whether visiting for work, shopping or time with family, motorists now have an additional payment option that makes arrival and departure more convenient.” He added that Touch ’n Go is continuing to work with car park operators to expand LPR Parking to more destinations, with the aim of simplifying different stages of the journey, from travelling on highways to parking at the final destination.
Alan Ni said the addition highlights how parking can become another everyday activity handled through the TNG eWallet. “With LPR Parking at Suria KLCC Car Park, motorists drive in, park and drive out, with fees paid automatically from their TNG eWallet,” he said.
To celebrate the arrival of LPR Parking at Suria KLCC, Touch ’n Go is also introducing the upcoming Golden Parking Rewards campaign. Selected eligible participants who have activated LPR Parking through TNG eWallet and complete qualifying LPR Parking transactions at Suria KLCC Car Park during the campaign period will stand a chance to receive a Touch ’n Go Limited-Edition 30th Anniversary Gold Wafer. The special reward contains 0.5g of 999.9 gold, with participation and reward selection subject to the campaign’s terms and conditions.
There is also an incentive for motorists trying LPR Parking for the first time. First-time users will receive RM2 cashback when they park at Suria KLCC Car Park using the service during the campaign period, while redemptions last. Touch ’n Go says the campaign start date, participation mechanics and full terms and conditions will be announced through its official channels.
