Naza Eastern Motors is expanding Suzuki’s reach in northern Malaysia with the opening of the new Suzuki Juru dealership in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. Operated by SMG Auto (MN) Sdn Bhd, the new authorised outlet represents an investment of RM1 million, including its display and test-drive units. The move underlines the dealer’s confidence in the northern market and its commitment to bringing the Suzuki brand closer to customers in Juru, Bukit Mertajam and the surrounding areas.

Spanning 1,600 sq. ft., the new 1S dealership features three Suzuki display vehicles, giving visitors a dedicated space to explore the brand’s latest offerings. The showroom also includes a customer lounge where visitors can relax during their time at the dealership. As a 1S outlet, Suzuki Juru will concentrate on vehicle sales, while after-sales services will continue to be supported by the Suzuki Bayan Lepas service centre at Jalan Sungai Tiram 7.

Mohd Rizal Jailan, Chief Executive Officer of Naza Automotive Group, said the opening represents another step in strengthening Suzuki’s presence in the northern region. “The opening of Suzuki Juru dealership marks another important step in strengthening Suzuki presence in the northern region,” he said. “The investment in this new dealership reflects our confidence in the market and our commitment to providing customers with greater accessibility to Suzuki vehicles.”

Rizal added that Juru and Bukit Mertajam are strategically important locations due to their growing population and strong connectivity, creating significant potential for the Suzuki brand. With the addition of the Juru outlet, Suzuki now has 14 authorised sales outlets and 13 service centres nationwide.

The opening also ties in with Naza Eastern Motors’ efforts to enhance the overall Suzuki ownership experience through SUZUKI CARe. The all-in-one programme combines Suzuki Protect motor insurance coverage with Road Side Assist, giving owners additional support beyond the purchase of their vehicle.

Suzuki Protect is a Suzuki-branded motor insurance programme available for models retailed through Suzuki dealerships. The programme is underwritten by Zurich General Takaful Malaysia Berhad and is designed to provide seamless vehicle protection alongside additional ownership benefits.

Key benefits include agreed-value coverage for vehicles up to 12 years old, no betterment for up to 10 years, waiver of excess for up to 10 years, Special Perils Coverage and unlimited towing. The programme also provides coverage for all drivers, the use of genuine parts and support from a well-trained team. Personal Accident Coverage of RM20,000 per person, up to RM80,000, is available for the driver and passengers, while Key Car Cover provides up to RM2,000 in coverage.

Customers who purchase through a Naza Eastern Motors branch will also receive an exclusive one-year free SkyLounge membership. “SUZUKI CARe is about giving our customers added support when they need it most. From protection to roadside assistance, the programme is designed to make ownership simpler and provide greater reassurance throughout their journey with Suzuki,” said Rizal. The dedicated SUZUKI CARe careline at 1800-888-700 is currently being prepared for activation, with final system integration underway.
