Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has introduced the new Mercedes-Benz GLC 350 e 4MATIC Coupé Nightfall Edition, giving its popular SUV coupé a more distinctive appearance while combining sporty design with plug-in hybrid performance. Locally assembled at Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s production facility in Pekan, Pahang, the new Nightfall Edition is based on the GLC 350 e 4MATIC Coupé AMG Line and adds an extensive Night Package featuring black exterior elements and dark chrome detailing.

According to Martin Schulz, CEO & President of Mercedes-Benz Cars Malaysia and Head of Region, Mercedes-Benz Cars Southeast Asia, the new model reflects the company’s focus on combining desirable design, innovation and everyday usability, while its local assembly reinforces Mercedes-Benz’s long-standing commitment to Malaysia.

The GLC 350 e 4MATIC Coupé Nightfall Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with an electric drive system. Together, the powertrain produces a combined 230 kW (313 hp) and 550 Nm of torque. Power is delivered through a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission and Mercedes-Benz’s 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system, providing a blend of performance, refinement and efficiency.

For shorter daily journeys, the plug-in hybrid SUV coupé offers an all-electric WLTP range of more than 100 km, while electric driving is possible at speeds of up to 140 km/h. Charging is supported by an 11 kW three-phase AC onboard charger, with a Mode 2 charging cable also included.

The Night Package is the defining feature of the Nightfall Edition, giving the GLC Coupé a more aggressive visual character. High-gloss black accents are applied to the Mercedes-Benz pattern, radiator shell louvre, beltline trim, window frames, exterior mirror housings, rear apron and diffuser. Dark chrome door handles further complement the blacked-out theme.

Completing the look are 20-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels finished in black, while a panoramic sliding sunroof and aluminium-look running boards with rubber studs add further touches of practicality and premium appeal. Lighting technology is provided by DIGITAL LIGHT with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus, which continuously adjusts light distribution according to traffic conditions. The system is also designed to reduce glare for other road users and automatically adapts its intensity when approaching highly reflective road signs.

Inside, the Nightfall Edition retains the extensive equipment package of the GLC 350 e 4MATIC Coupé AMG Line. The cabin features an AMG Line interior with ARTICO man-made leather upholstery, along with ARTICO trim in a nappa-look finish for the instrument panel and beltlines. Metal-structure trim and a multifunction sports steering wheel in nappa leather reinforce the model’s sporty character.

The digital cockpit consists of a 12.3-inch driver display paired with an 11.9-inch central display. Navigation duties are handled by MBUX Navigation Premium, complemented by MBUX Augmented Reality Navigation for enhanced route guidance. Audiophiles are also catered for with a Burmester 3D surround sound system, featuring 15 individually controlled speakers and a dedicated DSP amplifier.

Safety and driver assistance technology includes the Driving Assistance Plus package, bringing features such as Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Lane Keeping Assist and PRE-SAFE Impulse Side. The Parking Package adds a 360-degree camera and active parking assistance with PARKTRONIC, while the “transparent bonnet” view provides drivers with an enhanced perspective of the area ahead of the vehicle when manoeuvring.

The locally assembled Mercedes-Benz GLC 350 e 4MATIC Coupé Nightfall Edition is priced at RM442,888 in Peninsular Malaysia, with the price quoted on the road and excluding insurance. Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is also offering the model through its Agility+ financing plan, which starts from RM4,788 per month. The programme includes flexible end-of-term options, the MobilityPlus programme and a guaranteed future value for the vehicle. The Agility+ package for the GLC 350 e 4MATIC Coupé Nightfall Edition also includes a fifth-year extended limited Star Gold warranty and four Compact Service Packages.
