Proton is helping Malaysian motorists prepare for the upcoming National Day and Malaysia Day celebrations with the launch of its 2026 “Servis Ihsan MADANI @ PROTON” campaign, a nationwide aftersales initiative carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN).

Running from 17 August to 17 September 2026, the month-long campaign is aimed at making routine vehicle maintenance more affordable while encouraging motorists to ensure their vehicles are in good condition ahead of the festive travel period.

Under the initiative, eligible owners of the Proton Persona, Iriz, Exora and Saga can enjoy a RM70 discount on basic service charges or their total service invoice, subject to the applicable terms and conditions. Customers will also receive a complimentary 40-point vehicle inspection, providing an opportunity to identify potential issues before they develop into more costly repairs.

The campaign is available nationwide at participating Proton Authorised Service Centres, including 4S, 3S and 2S outlets. This broad coverage is intended to make the initiative accessible to Proton owners regardless of where they are located.

Beyond the immediate savings, the free inspection is designed to promote a more proactive approach to vehicle maintenance. By checking key vehicle components before undertaking longer journeys, motorists can address potential problems earlier and improve overall vehicle reliability and road safety.

Dato’ Ir Abdul Rashid Musa, Chief Executive Officer of Proton Edar Sdn Bhd, said the initiative reflects the company’s responsibility to continue supporting customers beyond the initial vehicle purchase. “At Proton, our responsibility to our customers extends well beyond the delivery of a new vehicle. We are committed to supporting them throughout their ownership journey by providing accessible, dependable and value-driven aftersales services,” he said.

He added that the partnership with KPDN allows Proton to provide tangible assistance to Malaysian motorists at an important time of the year, while the complimentary inspection offers additional peace of mind for those preparing for Merdeka and Malaysia Day travel.

PROTON is encouraging eligible owners to take advantage of the campaign and make vehicle maintenance a priority, particularly before embarking on long-distance journeys during the festive period.

For a more convenient experience, customers are advised to book their service appointments in advance through the Proton Link 2.0 mobile application. The official campaign QR code can also be used to download the application and access PROTON’s available aftersales services.
