Naza Eastern Motors has taken a significant step towards expanding mobility options for Malaysian motorists by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FLUX, one of the country’s leading vehicle subscription platforms. The partnership is aimed at making Suzuki vehicles more accessible through a flexible subscription programme, catering to consumers who value convenience and hassle-free vehicle access over traditional ownership.
The collaboration reflects the growing shift in consumer preferences, particularly among young professionals, expatriates and urban drivers who seek greater flexibility in their transportation choices. Instead of committing to long-term financing, customers will soon have the option of driving a Suzuki through a single monthly subscription that bundles key ownership costs into one payment.
The first Suzuki models to be offered through FLUX are the Suzuki Fronx and the Suzuki Jimny AllGrip Plus. The Fronx targets buyers looking for a stylish and fuel-efficient hybrid crossover suited to daily commuting, while the Jimny AllGrip Plus continues to appeal to adventure enthusiasts with its iconic design and genuine four-wheel-drive capabilities.
The agreement was signed by Naza Automotive Group Chief Executive Officer Mohd Rizal Jailan, Suzuki Cars Malaysia Chief Operating Officer Sivakumar Krishnan, FLUX Founder and Chief Executive Officer Aziz Ayman, and FLUX Director of Commercial Christine A.
According to Mohd Rizal Jailan, while vehicle ownership remains an important goal for many Malaysians, demand for more flexible mobility solutions continues to grow. He explained that integrating Suzuki vehicles into the FLUX platform creates an additional pathway for customers to experience the brand, particularly those who may not yet be ready for a conventional vehicle purchase.
An important aspect of the collaboration will see FLUX services introduced directly into selected Naza Eastern Motors dealerships. This allows showroom visitors to explore subscription options alongside traditional purchasing, giving customers the flexibility to choose the solution that best suits their financial circumstances and lifestyle.
Rizal added that instead of losing potential customers who are not prepared for a vehicle loan, dealerships will now be able to offer a subscription alternative, ensuring they remain within the Suzuki ecosystem regardless of how they choose to access their vehicle.
FLUX believes the timing is ideal as consumer attitudes towards vehicle ownership continue to evolve. Founder and CEO Aziz Ayman noted that Malaysians have increasingly embraced subscription-based services across various industries, from entertainment to software, and the automotive sector is beginning to follow the same trend.
He cited market research indicating that more than 60 percent of Malaysian car buyers are open to subscribing to a vehicle instead of taking on a conventional loan. The subscription model removes many of the traditional ownership burdens by combining financing, insurance, road tax, scheduled maintenance and depreciation into one predictable monthly payment.
Subscribers will also benefit from a complimentary courtesy vehicle during servicing, ensuring uninterrupted mobility throughout their subscription period.
Beyond expanding Suzuki’s reach, the partnership also aims to increase public awareness of vehicle subscriptions as an alternative mobility solution while strengthening Suzuki’s presence within Malaysia’s rapidly evolving mobility ecosystem. The initial Suzuki subscription fleet will be rolled out through the FLUX platform, supported by joint digital marketing campaigns and promotional activities at Suzuki dealerships nationwide.
To celebrate Malaysia’s 69th Merdeka anniversary and commemorate the new partnership, FLUX is introducing a special promotional offer valid until 6 September 2026. Customers who subscribe to selected Suzuki models under a 24- to 36-month plan will enjoy a 69% discount on both the first and last month’s subscription fees.
Under the promotion, the Suzuki Fronx 1.5 Hybrid (2025) sees its normal monthly subscription fee of RM2,225 reduced to RM690 for the discounted months, offering savings of RM3,070. Meanwhile, subscribers choosing the Suzuki Jimny AllGrip Plus (2026) will pay RM1,016 instead of the regular RM3,278 during the promotional months, translating to savings of RM4,524.
Interested customers can reserve their preferred Suzuki model through the FLUX platform or visit authorised Suzuki dealerships nationwide to learn more about the subscription programme, providing Malaysians with a new and flexible way to experience the Suzuki brand without the long-term commitment of vehicle ownership.
