PRO-NET is continuing its nationwide Proton e.MAS roadshow campaign, bringing its growing range of electrified vehicles to more Malaysians across the country. The next destinations on the tour are East Coast Mall in Kuantan from 24 to 28 June 2026, followed by Sunway Pyramid in Subang Jaya from 1 to 5 July 2026.

The roadshow initiative forms part of Proton e.MAS’ efforts to make electric mobility more accessible by giving consumers the opportunity to explore and experience its EV offerings in familiar public spaces. Following successful appearances in Penang and Melaka earlier this year, the campaign now heads to Pahang and Selangor as the brand strengthens its engagement with potential EV owners nationwide.

According to PRO-NET Chief Branding Officer Salawati Mohd Yusoff, the roadshows are designed to provide Malaysians with direct access to the Proton e.MAS range while helping build confidence in EV ownership. She noted that the brand remains focused on making the transition to electric mobility easier through customer engagement, dealer support, and practical solutions tailored to daily driving needs.

Visitors to East Coast Mall in Kuantan will be able to view the Proton e.MAS 5, Proton e.MAS 7, and the Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV. The showcase will highlight the potential savings offered by electric vehicles compared to conventional petrol-powered cars. With many East Coast residents living in landed properties, home charging is seen as a practical and convenient option, allowing owners to recharge their vehicles overnight.

Based on estimated electricity rates of RM0.60 per kWh, Proton estimates that travelling 100km in the e.MAS 5 costs approximately RM7, while the e.MAS 7 requires around RM9. In comparison, a similar journey in a conventional internal combustion engine vehicle could cost roughly RM16 to RM20 in fuel, reinforcing the cost-efficiency advantages of EV ownership.

The Sunway Pyramid roadshow will feature the complete Proton e.MAS line-up, with particular attention given to the recently introduced Proton e.MAS 7 Premium Plus. Unveiled during KLIMS 2026, the latest variant enhances the e.MAS 7 range with a larger 68.39kWh AEGIS Short Blade Battery capable of delivering up to 450km of WLTP-rated driving range.

The Premium Plus also supports 115kW DC fast charging, enabling the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in approximately 20 minutes despite its increased capacity. Beyond range improvements, the new model adds premium comfort features such as front massage seats and a powered front passenger seat complete with an integrated leg rest.

As part of its introductory offer, the Proton e.MAS 7 Premium Plus is currently available with a RM7,000 launch rebate, reducing its price to RM118,800 and enhancing its value proposition for buyers considering an electric vehicle.

Through these roadshows, Proton e.MAS continues to strengthen its position in Malaysia’s EV market while providing consumers with a hands-on opportunity to learn more about electric mobility and the benefits of transitioning to a more sustainable mode of transportation.
