MG Motor Malaysia is preparing for a major showcase at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2026, where the brand will present its latest advancements in electrified mobility, design innovation and premium automotive technology. Taking place from 12 to 21 June at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur, the exhibition will provide visitors with an in-depth look at MG’s evolving product strategy and future direction in Malaysia.

Leading the display is the debut of the all-new MG ZS compact SUV, which will be offered with two distinct powertrain options: the Hybrid+ system and a turbocharged engine. The introduction of these variants reflects MG’s commitment to offering Malaysian consumers a broader range of mobility solutions that cater to different driving preferences and lifestyles.

The new MG ZS also previews the brand’s latest design language, combining modern styling cues with enhanced technology and greater efficiency. This direction underscores MG’s ambition to deliver vehicles that are both accessible and aligned with the growing demand for smarter, future-ready transportation.

Adding further significance to the event is the appearance of Jozef Kabaň, Vice President of SAIC Motor’s Global Design Center. During a special Design Language Briefing Session, he will share insights into the creative philosophy and design principles that are shaping the next generation of MG vehicles worldwide.

KLIMS 2026 will also serve as the Malaysian introduction of IM (Intelligence in Motion), SAIC Motor’s premium luxury-focused sub-brand. Making its local debut is the IM6, a fully electric smart SUV that showcases advanced technology, sophisticated design and intelligent mobility features. The model offers a glimpse into SAIC’s vision for the future of premium electric transportation.

Through this expanded showcase, MG aims to strengthen its position across multiple market segments, from practical electrified vehicles for everyday use to cutting-edge premium EVs. The display highlights the brand’s ambition to broaden its appeal while responding to the rapidly evolving automotive landscape.

Visitors to the MG booth can also enjoy a range of interactive experiences throughout the event. A social media contest will give attendees the opportunity to win attractive prizes, while bi-hourly catwalk performances will blend automotive innovation with Malaysian cultural heritage through the elegant presentation of the national kebaya.

Those interested in experiencing MG’s latest models firsthand will have the chance to test drive both the MG ZS Hybrid+ and the MGS5 EV. As an added incentive, every participant who completes a test drive of any MG model will receive a complimentary cup of coffee.

MG enthusiasts will have an additional reason to visit on 14 June, when more than 40 members of the MG Club gather for a special heritage display. The showcase will feature a collection of classic MG models alongside the brand’s latest electric vehicles, including the striking all-electric Cyberster, celebrating MG’s rich history and ongoing transformation.

With a strong momentum in 2026 and further developments expected in the months ahead, MG Motor Malaysia continues to focus on expanding its local presence through innovative products, stronger customer engagement and a growing dealership network. Its presence at KLIMS 2026 reflects a clear commitment to shaping the future of mobility while remaining connected to the needs of Malaysian motorists.
