As Proton e.MAS celebrates its second year in the Malaysian automotive market, PRO-NET is preparing to make a strong statement at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2026 with its most extensive electric vehicle showcase to date. The event, which takes place from 11 to 21 June at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), will feature the highly anticipated first public preview of a new Proton e.MAS 7 variant.
Since its debut in 2024, Proton e.MAS has rapidly established itself as a key player in Malaysia’s electric vehicle landscape. From being introduced as the nation’s first national EV brand, it has grown into the country’s leading EV marque, supported by an expanding charging ecosystem, growing consumer confidence, and increasing adoption of electric mobility solutions.
At KLIMS 2026, Proton e.MAS will occupy centre stage as it presents its latest advancements in electric mobility. The showcase is expected to highlight the brand’s commitment to making EV ownership more accessible while demonstrating how its technology continues to evolve to meet the needs of Malaysian motorists.
According to PRO-NET Chief Executive Officer Zhang Qiang, the event represents both a celebration of the brand’s achievements and a glimpse into its future direction. He noted that KLIMS 2026 serves as an important milestone for Proton e.MAS, reflecting on the progress made over the past two years while offering Malaysians an early look at upcoming developments in the company’s EV journey.
One of the major attractions at the exhibition will be the unveiling of a new Proton e.MAS 7 variant. While detailed specifications and features remain under wraps, visitors will have the opportunity to preview the model before its official market launch. Additional information regarding the vehicle is expected to be announced closer to its introduction.
Beyond the new model preview, visitors to Hall 7 on Level 2 of MITEC will be able to explore the complete Proton e.MAS line-up, interact with the brand’s latest EV technologies, and gain insights into how electric mobility is becoming increasingly practical and relevant for everyday use in Malaysia.
The showcase underscores Proton e.MAS’ ambition to remain at the forefront of the country’s EV transformation while continuing to strengthen its position as a leading force in Malaysia’s growing electric vehicle market.
