Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford has unveiled three new variants at the Sime Motors MotorExpo 2026, marking a major expansion of its SUV offering. The new lineup consists of the Everest Platinum 3.0L, Everest Platinum 2.0L, and Everest Sport 2.0L, broadening the model’s appeal across premium, lifestyle, and adventure-focused segments.
Designed to meet the evolving needs of Malaysian drivers, the expanded Everest range reinforces Ford’s focus on versatility, combining family-friendly practicality, long-distance touring comfort, and genuine off-road capability. All variants share the Everest’s core strengths, including robust engineering, advanced safety technologies, intelligent connectivity, and premium craftsmanship.
At the top of the range, the Everest Platinum 3.0L leads as the most powerful and technologically advanced variant available in Malaysia. It is equipped with a 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged diesel engine producing 183.8 kW (250 PS) and 600 Nm of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and eShifter. A full-time four-wheel drive system with ElectroMagnetic Transfer Case enhances traction and stability across demanding conditions.
The Platinum 3.0L features a bold premium design, including exclusive Platinum badging, Matrix LED headlights, C-clamp daytime running lights, and 21-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it offers seating for up to seven passengers with power-folding third-row seats and a 12-inch infotainment system powered by Ford SYNC® 4A. It is available in Acacia Green, Meteor Grey, and Absolute Black.
Positioned as a more accessible premium option, the Everest Platinum 2.0L delivers a balance of luxury and everyday usability. It is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine producing 125 kW (170 PS) and 405 Nm of torque, paired with a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission and Electronic Shift-On-The-Fly four-wheel drive system.
The Platinum 2.0L maintains a refined exterior design with Matrix LED lighting and rides on 20-inch alloy wheels. Its cabin features a 12-inch SYNC® 4A infotainment system with wireless connectivity. Available colours include Acacia Green, Meteor Grey, Arctic White, and Absolute Black.
Meanwhile, the Everest Sport 2.0L offers a more dynamic and athletic character. It shares the same 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine output of 170 PS and 405 Nm of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and selectable four-wheel drive system featuring multiple drive modes, including Mud/Ruts and Sand.
The Sport variant distinguishes itself with bold black exterior accents, LED headlights, C-clamp daytime running lights, and 20-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it features sporty two-tone seats and a driver-focused cabin designed for comfort and versatility. It is available in Command Grey, Lightning Blue, Arctic White, and Absolute Black.
According to Turse Zuhair, Managing Director of Auto ConneXion, the expanded Everest range reflects strong customer demand for SUVs that blend capability, comfort, and premium features across different lifestyle needs. The new variants aim to strengthen Ford’s presence in Malaysia’s competitive SUV market.

Customers can now place orders at authorised dealerships nationwide. In conjunction with the launch, buyers in June 2026 will receive promotional benefits including two years of free service.
