Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has introduced the new Mercedes-Benz GLA Nightfall Edition, offering customers a more distinctive take on the compact luxury SUV. Available in two variants – the Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 Nightfall Edition and the Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 4MATIC Nightfall Edition – this locally assembled special edition brings darker styling elements and a higher level of equipment to the GLA lineup.
Designed to emphasise its sporty SUV character, the GLA features an athletic silhouette paired with a bold radiator grille and pronounced shoulder lines that give it a confident road presence. The Nightfall Edition further enhances this look with the addition of the AMG Line exterior and the Night Package, which introduces high-gloss black accents across key design elements, from the front grille to the wheels.

The GLA 200 Nightfall Edition rides on 19-inch AMG five twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, while the GLA 250 4MATIC Nightfall Edition comes fitted with larger 20-inch AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels. The more powerful GLA 250 variant also benefits from MULTIBEAM LED headlights, featuring Adaptive LED technology with intelligent lighting functions, ULTRA RANGE high beam, and a high beam assistant to improve visibility and safety during night driving.

Inside, the GLA Nightfall Edition blends modern luxury with practical functionality. The cabin features an AMG Line interior, complemented by a black fabric roof liner and a multifunction sports steering wheel wrapped in nappa leather. The distinctive character of the Nightfall Edition is highlighted by ARTICO man-made leather and MICROCUT microfibre upholstery in black, paired with grey contrast stitching.

Sports seats, grey seat belts, and light longitudinal-grain aluminium trim further enhance the sporty yet premium feel of the interior. Comfort and convenience are also prioritised with features such as THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control and the Parking Package with a 360-degree camera.

The advanced parking system provides a full view around the vehicle and works together with Active Parking Assist to help drivers locate suitable parking spaces and manoeuvre the vehicle with ease and confidence.

Under the bonnet, the GLA 200 Nightfall Edition is powered by a 1.33-litre engine producing 163 hp and 270 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds with a top speed of 210 km/h. Meanwhile, the GLA 250 4MATIC Nightfall Edition features a more powerful 2.0-litre engine delivering 224 hp and 350 Nm of torque, supported by a 10 kW electric motor that produces 150 Nm. This setup enables the SUV to complete the century sprint in 6.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 240 km/h.

In Peninsular Malaysia, the locally assembled Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 Nightfall Edition is priced at RM258,888, while the Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 4MATIC Nightfall Edition retails at RM295,888. Both prices are on-the-road without insurance and include a 10% sales tax.

Mercedes-Benz Financial also offers the Step Up Agility+ Plan, providing customers with lower monthly instalments, flexible end-of-agreement options, and guaranteed future value. Monthly payments start from RM1,888 for the GLA 200 Nightfall Edition and RM2,488 for the GLA 250 4MATIC Nightfall Edition. The plan also includes the MobilityPlus programme, which provides a temporary Mercedes-Benz replacement vehicle if the owner’s car is undergoing service, maintenance, or warrantable repairs for more than 48 hours.

With its darker styling cues, upgraded equipment, and strong performance credentials, the new Mercedes-Benz GLA Nightfall Edition offers a fresh and more dynamic choice for customers seeking a compact luxury SUV with a distinctive edge.
