As 2026 begins, Motul Malaysia is reflecting on a milestone year marked by strong growth, deeper partnerships, and a clear roadmap for the future. Building on the momentum of 2025, the high-performance automotive lubricant brand is crediting its nationwide dealer network as the driving force behind its continued success, while unveiling strategic expansions aimed at strengthening its presence across Malaysia.
A highlight of the year was a specially curated dealer appreciation programme held in November 2025, where 109 partners from across the country took part in a four-day, three-night experience in Pattaya, Thailand. More than a celebration, the trip was designed to recognise dealer contributions, reinforce long-term collaboration, and strengthen the sense of unity within the Motul network.
According to Ravi Shankar, General Manager of Motul Malaysia, dealers play a role that goes far beyond distribution. He emphasised that Motul’s partnerships are built on shared values, market expertise, and a commitment to quality that reflects the brand’s century-long heritage in automotive innovation. Each dealer, he noted, brings essential local insight and trusted customer relationships that help maintain Motul’s high standards in workshops and for end users nationwide.
The appreciation trip reflected Motul’s belief that dealer success and brand growth are inseparable. Carefully designed activities, complemented by subtle French-inspired touches, highlighted Motul’s identity and legacy while reinforcing the importance of investing in meaningful, long-term relationships rather than short-term transactions.
Entering 2026, Motul Malaysia continues to expand its authorised dealer network to improve accessibility to its premium lubricant solutions. Newly announced partners include Lubeon Sdn Bhd in Puchong, Selangor; Nget Soon Lubricants Sdn Bhd in Tawau, Sabah; and Corporate Performance Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
This expansion reflects Motul’s strategy of combining global technical expertise with strong in-market knowledge. By positioning dealers as trusted advisors, the brand ensures customers receive lubricant solutions tailored to their specific vehicles and usage needs. Ravi added that dealers are the vital connection between Motul and Malaysian motorists, with their expertise playing a key role in upholding the brand’s reputation for performance and reliability.
With a stronger presence in key regions, Motul is better equipped to serve drivers nationwide, while supporting its partners through training and resources to meet evolving industry demands. The move also signals Motul’s confidence in Malaysia’s automotive market and its long-term commitment to growth.
Looking ahead, Motul Malaysia is approaching 2026 with renewed energy and focus, guided by motorsport-inspired values of precision, courage, and performance. Marketing Head Yvonne Ng shared that the brand is planning a Partner Appreciation Event in Istanbul, Türkiye—an iconic city that mirrors Motul’s bold and enduring spirit.
The upcoming initiatives aim to celebrate shared achievements, deepen partnerships, and set the tone for sustained growth. Together with its partners, Motul continues to build a strong nationwide ecosystem delivering world-class lubricant solutions to workshops and drivers across Malaysia.
Motul Malaysia’s expanding passenger car and motorcycle network includes Specialty Lubricants Trading (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd as its exclusive importer, alongside authorised partners in Selangor, Perak, Johor, Sarawak, and Sabah. Workshops, retailers, and prospective dealers interested in joining the Motul network are encouraged to explore collaboration opportunities.
