Proton New Energy Technology Sdn Bhd (PRO-NET) is bringing its highly anticipated Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV closer to the public through a festive showcase at the Chinese New Year (CNY) Spring Carnival. Organised in collaboration with Mango Media, the event runs from 15 to 25 January 2026 at the Piazza, Pavilion Bukit Jalil.

Spanning 11 days, the carnival marks one of the earliest public appearances of the Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV since bookings officially opened. Visitors attending the CNY celebration will have the opportunity to see the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle up close during the festive season, reinforcing PROTON’s push towards electrified mobility for Malaysian consumers.

According to PRO-NET Chief Brand Officer, Puan Salawati Mohd Yusoff, integrating the Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV into the Chinese New Year festivities provides a meaningful way to connect with Malaysians. She noted that the initiative allows visitors to experience the Proton e.MAS brand in an engaging environment while exploring the possibilities of electric and hybrid mobility.

Throughout the carnival, the Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV will be displayed alongside its newly launched sibling, the e.MAS 5, giving visitors a broader view of Proton’s growing electrified lineup. To further enhance the experience, PRO-NET is also introducing a special “Snap, Share & Win” contest, where participants stand a chance to win an electric vehicle.

To enter the contest, visitors simply need to take a photo with the Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV at the venue and share it on their personal Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook account. Participants must tag Proton e.MAS Official and Proton e.MAS Cars, along with the hashtag #eMAS7PHEVPower. Eligible participants who also place a booking for the Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV at any authorised dealership will be in the running to win a Proton e.MAS 5 Prime. One winner will be selected, with the announcement scheduled for late February 2026. Participants who meet the contest criteria but have not made a booking will instead receive a RM1,000 cash prize via Touch ’n Go eWallet.

In conjunction with the showcase, PRO-NET is offering early ownership privileges for customers who book the Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV with a RM99 booking fee. Interested buyers can register their interest through the official Proton e.MAS website or place a booking at authorised Proton e.MAS dealerships nationwide. Early registrants will enjoy a RM500 rebate on the booking fee, with the offer limited to the first 5,000 customers and subject to terms and conditions.
