WTC Automotif (M) Sdn Bhd (WTCA) has officially introduced the all-new GAC EMKOO, an SUV that blends futuristic design, cutting-edge technology, and strong performance at a competitive price. Available in two trims – the Premium (RM123,800) and Premium Pro (RM133,800) – the EMKOO is set to redefine value in the Malaysian SUV market.
To mark its launch, early customers are being treated to an Exclusive Early Bird Promo, which includes a RM4,000 cash rebate and an accessory package worth RM10,000. This package features premium upgrades such as a 2-Channel DVR with 64GB Micro SD Card, EMKOO Exclusive Kicking Plate, Luggage Tray, and Sport Pedals.
Additionally, the Premium variant comes with Vkool Solar Tint and an Electric Power Tailgate, while the Premium Pro variant is fitted with Vkool Security Tint. This limited-time offer is capped at the first 500 customers under specific campaign terms.
Under the hood, the EMKOO is powered by a 1.5TGDI engine paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, producing a smooth yet spirited drive. The SUV accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 8.8 seconds, reaches a top speed of 190 km/h, and delivers a fuel efficiency of just 6.6L/100km (NEDC).
The EMKOO’s cabin continues the futuristic theme with a Head-Up Display (HUD), a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10.1-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Practicality is a strong point, with 638 litres of boot space expandable to 1,586 litres with the rear seats folded.
On the safety front, the SUV boasts a full suite of Level 2 ADAS features, Full Automatic Parking Assist (FAPA), and Adaptive Vehicle Dynamic Control (AVDC), enhancing both convenience and peace of mind.
The EMKOO is GAC’s second CKD model in Malaysia, following the GS3 EMZOOM, underscoring the brand’s long-term commitment to local assembly and expansion. Previewed at nationwide roadshows since July, the SUV has already generated strong interest for its bold styling, spaciousness, and advanced technologies.
Customers can choose from five exterior colours – Super Star Silver, Graphite Grey, Frost White, Asphalt Black, and the striking new Star Lake Green – all paired with a black leatherette interior with red accents for a sporty yet premium feel.
Buyers will enjoy peace of mind with a 5-year/150,000km vehicle warranty and a 7-year/180,000km engine and powertrain warranty. To further boost ownership confidence, GAC Malaysia has also expanded its service network to 45 service centres nationwide, effective October 2025.
