Leapmotor has entered 2026 with strong momentum, reinforcing its status as a leading force among new energy vehicle (NEV) start-ups. Building on its solid performance in 2025, the company has continued to climb the ranks, securing the top position among EV start-ups for both March and the first quarter of 2026. This achievement is driven by a well-rounded product portfolio spanning multiple segments, from compact city cars to larger premium models.

In March 2026 alone, Leapmotor delivered an impressive 50,029 vehicles across domestic and international markets, marking a significant 34.87% increase compared to the same period last year. This upward trajectory extended into the first quarter, where total deliveries reached 110,155 units—an encouraging 25.82% year-on-year growth that underscores the brand’s expanding global footprint.

To maintain this strong growth curve, Leapmotor is ramping up its product offensive. The company is set to unveil its flagship SUV, the D19, on April 16, signalling its push into the higher-end EV segment. Shortly after, at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24, Leapmotor will introduce the Ultra variant of its Lafa 5 electric hatchback—globally known as the B05. This rear-wheel-drive compact EV has been co-developed with Stellantis’ European engineering team, highlighting the brand’s growing international collaboration and technical capabilities.

Looking further ahead, Leapmotor has outlined an ambitious roadmap for 2026 with the launch of four new models: the A10, D19, A05, and D99. These upcoming vehicles are expected to play a pivotal role in the company’s sales strategy, collectively contributing around 60% of its total annual volume.

The recent market introduction of the all-new A10 compact SUV, also referred to globally as the B03X, alongside the anticipated domestic debut of the D19, reflects the company’s rapid execution of its expansion plans. With a steady stream of new models and continuous advancements in smart EV technology, Leapmotor is positioning itself as a key player in delivering accessible, intelligent electric mobility to a broader audience.

As the EV market grows increasingly competitive, Leapmotor’s combination of strong sales performance, diverse product offerings, and forward-looking strategy places it firmly on track to sustain its leadership among emerging electric vehicle brands.
