PRO-NET has announced a special Hari Raya promotion for the Proton e.MAS 5, celebrating the model’s strong market performance as Malaysia’s best-selling electric vehicle for two consecutive months in 2026.

Since its launch, the Proton e.MAS 5 has quickly gained traction among Malaysian buyers seeking an accessible entry into electric mobility. As of February 2026, total registrations for the model have surpassed 5,000 units nationwide, reinforcing its position as the country’s top-selling EV.

The year began on a particularly strong note for the model, with 3,068 units delivered in January alone. Demand remained steady in February, with another 1,562 vehicles handed over to customers across the country. The consistent delivery figures reflect growing confidence among Malaysians in adopting electric vehicles as a practical alternative to conventional cars.

In appreciation of the overwhelming support from customers, PRO-NET has introduced a limited-time Raya rebate for the Proton e.MAS 5. The promotion offers a RM500 rebate for bookings made between 31 October 2025 and 23 March 2026, allowing more Malaysians to celebrate the upcoming festive season with the country’s most popular EV.

According to Zhang Qiang, the response to the Proton e.MAS 5 has exceeded expectations and signals a positive shift in consumer acceptance of electric mobility.

He noted that the strong demand demonstrates Malaysians’ readiness to embrace EV technology when the right combination of affordability, practicality, and advanced features is offered. The Raya rebate, he added, is a gesture of appreciation to customers for their trust as PRO-NET continues its efforts to accelerate EV adoption nationwide.

Customers who book the Proton e.MAS 5 by 23 March 2026 and complete their vehicle registration by 30 September 2026 will be eligible for the RM500 rebate. Those who had already booked and registered their vehicle between the model’s official launch on 31 October 2025 and the promotional deadline will also qualify for the incentive.

Beyond the festive rebate, buyers will continue to benefit from the model’s extended launch pricing and comprehensive ownership package. This includes a six-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty, along with an eight-year or 160,000 km warranty covering the high-voltage battery and key EV components.
