As Malaysians prepare to welcome the festive season of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, a time defined by reflection, forgiveness and family reunions, GWM Malaysia has launched its 2026 festive campaign themed “Raikan Perjalanan Menuju Keredaan.” The initiative celebrates the journeys that bring loved ones closer together, recognising the sacrifices made along the way while highlighting the meaningful moments that define the spirit of Raya.
At the centre of the campaign is the Raya brand film titled “Lebaran Keredaan.” The story follows two characters, Faiz and Rizal, as they navigate responsibilities, personal decisions and family expectations in the days leading up to the celebration. Set within relatable Malaysian experiences, the film reflects the importance of family bonds, sacrifice and the emotional journey of returning home for the holidays.
Throughout the story, the GWM HAVAL H6 HEV plays a symbolic role as a dependable travel companion, representing reassurance, comfort and peace of mind during the busy balik kampung season when many families embark on long drives to reunite with loved ones.
The campaign also coincides with a significant milestone for the company, as GWM Malaysia celebrates the nationwide delivery of 6,000 units of the HAVAL H6 HEV. This achievement positions the hybrid SUV among the top-selling hybrid models in Malaysia, reflecting growing consumer confidence since the model’s local introduction in October 2024.
Designed with practicality in mind, the self-charging hybrid SUV eliminates the need for external charging while offering an impressive driving range of up to 1,000 kilometres on a single tank—an advantage for long-distance festive journeys.
