Porsche Malaysia has partnered with creative duo and dynamic couple Shalma Ainaa and Wan Imar Izzat to present a fresh perspective on the locally assembled Porsche Cayenne — a sports SUV crafted not just for performance, but for the rhythm of everyday life.

For Shalma and Imar, mornings often begin with a light-hearted dilemma: who gets the Cayenne for the day? It’s a playful ritual born out of shared enthusiasm rather than rivalry. Because once behind the wheel, the Cayenne becomes more than transportation — it transforms each journey into something smoother, more capable, and undeniably enjoyable.

Some days Imar slips away early, greeting the sunrise from the driver’s seat. On others, Shalma makes the first move, quietly claiming the keys before the day unfolds. The exchange reflects a simple truth: the Cayenne isn’t just needed — it’s wanted.

As a fashion designer and founder of SHALS, Shalma Ainaa leads a life defined by movement. From styling sessions and brand shoots to managing her lifestyle label, no two days look the same.

“I’m constantly on the go. I need something that keeps pace with my schedule while carrying everything from mannequins to fabric rolls,” Shalma explains. “The Cayenne fits naturally into my life. It’s refined for daily drives, yet every time I drive it, it still feels special.”

Wan Imar Izzat, an architect with a deep appreciation for design, sees the Cayenne through a different lens.

“The Cayenne’s design is timeless. I’ve experienced several generations, and it has always embodied what a sports car SUV should be,” he says. “As an architect, I admire its strong design language — it’s unmistakably Porsche, instantly recognisable, and always commanding attention.”

Assembled in Malaysia, the Cayenne is powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 engine delivering 353 PS and 500 Nm of torque. The driving experience balances smooth acceleration with confident responsiveness, while the updated Porsche Driver Experience introduces a highly digitalised display and intuitive control concept to enhance safety, comfort, and driver engagement.

The model featured by the couple is equipped with the Exclusive Manufaktur Package, elevating its visual presence. Sport Design elements — including a sculpted front apron with pronounced air intakes and signature C-blades — are complemented by body-coloured side sill panels and wheel arch trims. A Sport Design roof spoiler with high-gloss black accents and a rear diffuser further reinforce its athletic stance.

Adding a distinctive touch, integrated exit courtesy lights project a crisp white ‘PORSCHE’ logo onto the ground, turning even the smallest moments into part of the experience.

Life rarely follows a script — and the Cayenne is engineered for the unexpected. Whether navigating urban streets or venturing onto mixed surfaces, the SUV adapts with ease.

When Shalma takes an unplanned detour — from paved roads to loose gravel — confidence remains intact. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), fitted as standard, continuously adjusts damping to maintain stability and ride comfort, making uneven terrain, steep inclines, and shifting road conditions feel effortless.

An elevated standard equipment package enhances everyday usability. Features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, the Sport Chrono Package, soft-close doors, and preparation for rear seat entertainment ensure the Cayenne transitions seamlessly between spirited drives and daily routines.

Recognising their shared fondness for the Cayenne, the couple’s lifestyle expanded to include a second model: the Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupé.

Echoing the iconic silhouette of the 911, the Coupé variant leans into a sportier aesthetic. Its powertrain pairs a V6 engine with a 130 kW electric motor, delivering a combined output of 519 PS. The result is a driving character that blends electric serenity with muscular performance — quietly powerful yet unmistakably Porsche.

The Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupé offers the flexibility of both electric and combustion driving modes, delivering dynamic capability alongside improved efficiency.

The locally assembled Porsche Cayenne is available in Malaysia from RM599,999, while the Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupé is priced from RM728,000.
