PRO-NET has officially introduced the locally produced 2026 Proton e.MAS 7, marking a significant step forward in Malaysia’s electric vehicle (EV) journey. Designed to balance affordability, practicality, and advanced technology, the updated e.MAS 7 reinforces PRO-NET’s role in accelerating the nation’s transition towards sustainable mobility.

According to PRO-NET Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Zhang Qiang, local production and competitive pricing remain central to the brand’s mission. He highlighted that the strong market response in 2025, which saw the e.MAS 7 emerge as Malaysia’s best-selling EV, reflects growing confidence among local consumers. With the 2026 model year, PRO-NET has further enhanced features and adapted specifications to better suit Malaysian driving conditions, delivering greater convenience and improved safety.

The 2026 Proton e.MAS 7 continues to embody PRO-NET’s focus on innovation, safety, and sustainability, while offering a high-quality, locally assembled EV tailored for Malaysian drivers.

For the Prime variant, convenience takes centre stage with the addition of a powered tailgate. This allows the boot to be opened or closed effortlessly via a button or key fob, making daily loading and unloading far more convenient, especially when hands are full.

The Premium variant receives a substantial safety upgrade through the introduction of advanced driver assistance technologies. New features include Evasive Manoeuvre Assist (EMA), which supports steering input during emergency situations to help avoid obstacles, Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA) that warns of approaching vehicles at intersections, and Active Lane Change Assist (ALCA), which monitors blind spots and provides steering assistance during lane changes when required.

To celebrate the arrival of the 2026 model, PRO-NET is offering a Welcome Benefit package worth RM4,000 for a limited time. This comprehensive bundle includes a complimentary 7kW home charger, a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) adaptor, five years of unlimited internet data, and extensive warranty coverage. Buyers also enjoy a six-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty, alongside an eight-year or 160,000km high-voltage battery and component warranty. Existing Proton owners are further rewarded with an exclusive trade-in rebate worth RM5,000.

Without insurance, the recommended on-the-road prices are set at RM103,800 for the e.MAS 7 Prime and RM119,800 for the Premium variant in Peninsular Malaysia, with slightly higher pricing in East Malaysia. With the limited-time Welcome Benefit rebate applied, prices are reduced to RM99,800 for the Prime and RM115,800 for the Premium in Peninsular Malaysia.

Through continuous innovation, local assembly, and customer-focused initiatives, PRO-NET is positioning the 2026 Proton e.MAS 7 as a key pillar in building a greener, smarter automotive future for Malaysia.
