Tesla Malaysia has taken another step in strengthening the country’s electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure with the launch of two new charging locations, reinforcing its commitment to making EV ownership more convenient and accessible nationwide.

The latest additions include a new Supercharging station at Nexus Bangsar South and a Destination Charging station at Quayside Mall, Kota Kemuning. At Nexus Bangsar South, drivers can access four Supercharger stalls alongside four Destination Chargers, all available to the public around the clock. Meanwhile, Quayside Mall now offers four Destination Chargers, also operating 24/7, providing added convenience for residents and shoppers in the Kota Kemuning area.

With Superchargers delivering peak charging speeds of up to 250 kW, Tesla owners can enjoy rapid top-ups on the go. For instance, the Model 3 Long Range RWD can gain up to 311 km of driving range in just 15 minutes—enough for several trips between Bangsar South and Kota Kemuning.

Following these openings, Tesla’s charging footprint in Malaysia now spans 18 Supercharging stations and 17 Destination Charging locations nationwide, comprising a total of 76 Superchargers and 79 Destination Chargers. This growing network supports more than 13,000 Tesla owners across the country, with further expansion planned in Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh and Johor Bahru in 2026.

Beyond infrastructure growth, Tesla is also rolling out customer-focused initiatives to encourage EV adoption. Malaysians can take advantage of the brand’s 7 Day Express Delivery programme, aimed at helping buyers receive their vehicles before the EV tax holiday concludes later this year. Limited-time ownership incentives are also available, including interest rates starting from 0% and monthly payments from RM1,588.

To mark the festive season, Tesla showrooms are hosting a holiday celebration featuring vehicles in reindeer-themed decorations, along with a customised tote bag for visitors, available until 31 December.
