Perodua has wrapped up the year on a high note with the introduction of its latest sports utility vehicle, the all-new Perodua Traz. The development of the Perodua Traz represents a significant investment, with total project costs amounting to RM563.3 million. The SUV is produced at Perodua Manufacturing Sdn Bhd’s Sungai Choh plant in Rawang and boasts an impressive 95 percent local content, reinforcing Perodua’s commitment to supporting the domestic automotive ecosystem.

Dato’ Sri Zainal also noted that the Traz is expected to contribute positively to Perodua’s overall vehicle registrations from 2026 onwards. Deliveries are set to begin immediately across Peninsular Malaysia, allowing customers to get behind the wheel without a long wait. In terms of efficiency, the Perodua Traz delivers a fuel consumption figure of 21.3 kilometres per litre based on the Malaysia Driving Cycle Mode, making it a cost-effective choice for daily commuting and longer journeys alike. The SUV is offered in a range of colours, including Cranberry Red, Electric Blue with Black Roof, Glittering Silver, Ivory White, and Granite Grey, giving buyers plenty of options to match their personal style.
